What books are and aren't steeped in Christianity

First of all I have no problem and disrespect for anyone believing in god as long as you have respect that other people believe in other thing’s

With that out of the way this post is for the people that want to know what books are about Christianity and what books are about daimons specifically not the demon = bad spiel because I started thinking if the lesser key of Solomon is from a Christian lens or not

One book that is from what I have seen really good about daimons is (the complete book of demonolatry by s.connolly) I have bought the book

So what are you’re reads if you want to know about daimons and what are you’re reads if you want to learn about God

I read Lucifer And The Hidden Demons, to know more about demons and I read Taoism to know more about the nature of God.

You do know that book is a religious text, right? It’s basically the same thing as Christianity except the demons are what is worshipped. S. Connolly’s practical stuff is alright, but her personal biases and sometimes flat out misinformation run rampant in her work.

Huh! Ah shit this is a testimony of why this type of post is needed because it’s so hard to see

Demonolatry is the religious worship of demons so anything with “demonolatry” in the title would be full of religion.

There is misinformation in some of her book? Like what?

Can second Lucifer and the Hidden Demons.

With Gallery of Magick books like Demons of Magick you use divine names of the Abrahamic GOD to instil a sense of divine authority to command the spirits you call upon, like Demons in this case, but also Angels in their other books. But if you are wanting to avoid anything that is Abrahamic, but that also works, my first big result in Magick came from the book Lucifer and the Hidden Demons.

Perhaps dogma would have been a better word to use. She says things like drawing a circle around a demon’s seal is offensive and crap like that which is not borne out in actual experience.

I have the book I think it’s pretty good the only thing you need is you’re own respective on daimons for example she says daimon means divine power my interpretation is that it is a title for entities that are guiding spirit’s so it’s wise to have you’re own interpretation

And the worshiping parts are not too bad just disregard everything that’s too worshipy and just switch out the word worship with work with

Even after that there is still enough information to make it worth it

Just my opinion I’m not a professional by any means just in case

She has a part where she mentions “evocation is disrespectful” because according to her it’s calling the demon against their will and invocation is another respectful way to call them to be present, so there’s definitely some degree of misinformation.
