What are the implications of a blood pact?

Hi everyone, I read in a book that a blood pact has more implications compared to any other pact, I’m just wondering if anyone knows what these might be.
The book did not go into more detail and I’m dying of curiosity.

Blood “seals you” to the agreement and it can’t be broken unless they break the contract. Tread lightly, it’s profoundly dangerous

I mean it’s a part of you. It’s your life. You can’t live without blood and so you’re tying yourself to a thing deeply. Like this part of me is tied to this pact. Or I am tied to this pact. I use blood sometimes, it feels different than not using it for sure and it’s best practice to clarify what you and the spirit are getting out of any arrangement so do that, but really it’s just about having a personal meaningful relationship with a spirit.

Obviously as with all magick exercise caution, but it’s not like horror movie stuff either unless you’re really some other type of magician whose magick usually works like horror movie magick.

Could you provide an example?

Say you sign up with an order and they require you to anoint a sigil with your blood that seals you them. They turn out to not be what they claim and the pact is nullified.

That or you can wreck wholesale havoc on them by divine decree and take everything they care about with a direct link to them like it was a marriage certificate

@Norski somehow I think what you are trying today is getting lost in translation. Anyhow…

My take:
Not only is “blood is the life” (mr renfield) but as we now know thanks to science each person’s blood has a unique to them dna signature. By using blood you are giving the other (entity) a dna signature that is only linked to you and no one else (like a fingerprint) that is an irrefutable proof it’s your signature of agreement but it’s also powered by your life force. That’s why blood is so important and valuable and you don’t just use it with any Tom Dick or Harry. Essentially by doing so (using blood) you are providing inviolable proof of your agreement and making it a binding contract that is partially empowered by your very life force. Sorta.

I recall soneone I knew who made a blood pact with a group of spirits. When the weird started to happen ge said he was done pact over but he never banished or went through any act/ritual to actually break the pact. Stuff still happened in his life. He kept feeding and giving off negativity through his fears and terrors and it broke him. He was also pretty disrespectful.

I made a pact a few times but they honestly can’t be fulfilled until I die. When I look at the wording its a wonder I haven’t mysteriously died at any time. Maybe its because the pact is so uh… weird.

I see, but I was looking more into blood pacts with spirits.

Beautifully explained, thanks.
