The wealth magick spell book by E.A. Koetting & Conner Kendall, I forgot the name of the ritual contained within it but it’s the one that requires green candles and a silver plate for those that know that have the book.
My question is does the plate need to actually be pure silver, it just says silver plate and believe it or not it doesn’t seem that easy to find a plate online made of actual pure solid silver. What if the plate is metal and silver plated? Or just metal as these seem to be all I’m able to find online. Thanks for anyone who’s worked from this book. It’s very confusing how it just says “silver plate”.
No. Pure sterling silver would cost you upwards of $1000, depending on the weight and purity of the metal. If you could afford that, you probably wouldn’t need to do the ritual. You can use something that is silver plated for a fraction of the cost and that is all you really need.

Thank you thank you. I had this book for quite a while and wanted to use it I just didn’t want to without doing this ritual first strongly so I’m glad I was able to finally get an answer for this
And for some reason my intuition kept saying I should buy a real silver plate but couldn’t find any so then was pushed to ask. “Do I really near a pure silver plate” so thank you.
Sterling silver is generally 92% pure silver so a sterling silver plate will set you back at least several hundred dollars, unless you’re lucky enough to have a grandmother who just happens to have an antique serving set handy and wouldn’t mind if you borrowed a plate from it. I just Googled “sterling silver plate” and found a few for between $300-$600.
Silver plated is generally only 5% pure silver but sometimes you just have to work with what you can get.
