I read somewhere that when you make a voodoo doll it has to be “activated”.
What does “activation” mean in this context and how does it work, if it works?
you have to create links. Say you make your doll, EXCLUDE something in your mind …for example , the target.
so then if you are good, wait to include an item, say a piece of hair, from the person, and then when you have the hair to it you have activated.
If you are making a new car you turn the key.

“Activating” your doll is bringing it to life. It’s a process. During the construction of the doll you will consecrate the materials, add the links to your target and then baptize the finished doll to give it “life”.
Denise Alvarado has a couple good books on Voodoo Dolls. She’s easy to find.
