Valefor's useful lessons and binding services

In a paragraph: Valefor has taught me how to effectively bind someone’s vitality to your goals, so that they don’t go against them, and the lesson behind his usual shape. Also, he cleared his name, formerly maligned with the reputation that he is an untrustworthy character that will inevitably betray the magician in the long run. This is because Valefor does suggest actual good ideas that should serve as an ideal, as a goal to reach, not actually the solution to your problem.

For now I will post about that lesson, and we’ll go about the binding soon after. Sorry for this but I am running out of time for today:

  1. He appears as a lion with the head of a donkey or ass. As in the animal, not the human posterior. The meaning is that one should pursue goals with the stubborn nature of a donkey, the obstinate “my way or the highway” attitude, but only when you truly are as powerful as a lion. Anything else is taking a shortcut that would result in quite the opposite image, a donkey with a lion’s head, brave but useless.

  2. On his traitorous nature. Considering the fact that the first mention of Valefor is probably in De Plancy’s “Dictionnarie Infernal”, and that in that age most crimes were punished with death if not torture, if you were to profit from such endeavor? You had to be very good or very foolish. And what is humanity’s number one vice? Putting the blame on others, especially God and whoever comes next.

  3. Valefor will suggest actually very good ideas that by the time you are ready to undertake them, they are obsolete. They are not solutions, they are aims, milestones in your progress usually mistaken for instructions. The example in my case was that I needed clear spiritual communication, down to the letter, no mere suggestive invasive thoughts but words I could put down to paper. I longed for this excessively and Valefor said I should instead channel him (sometimes her) into my dogs, or any other spirit for that manner.

I had the impression that he said that it is something that was done way back then, a good method, and that the resulting spirit would be trapped inside the body of the animal until I was satisfied.

Did I go with it? I must say I felt it was the answer I was looking for, and where it not for the love that I have for my pets, I might have gone through with it. Was I actually prepared? Laughably no, of course not. But you have to ask yourself, if someone is capable of that feat, aren’t they powerful enough to just bypass the middleman (middledog?) entirely? Doesn’t someone capable enough to bind a spirit to living flesh, by extension, also powerful enough to communicate?

That was the “trick”. Valefor didn’t want me to grossly fuck up by, understandably, pissing off some spirit. It was his lesson, and also because he meant to instill in me that BOUNDLESS AMBITION. When someone truly considers his goals above the wellbeing of others they become rife with a self-feeding grandiose idea that they actually can pull it. He meant for me to cultivate that, to say “you know what? I’m not going to do it because it’s just awful and unfair, BUT IT WANT TO, and fuck if I am not going to get it my way”.

The ensuing obssession would probably lead me to actually spend honest nights of work, full of meditation and visualization, in preparation for a big step, and hopefuly somewhere along those lines I’d go “okay this is too cruel maybe I should tone it down”. The temptation with bad ideas is to make you self-reflect on how actually impossible they are, so that the ENSUING FRUSTRATION makes you search faster for alternatives.

Take for example being ridiculously rich. Well go rob a bank. Then you’d probably fantasize about assembling a crew of hardened criminals, how you’d go about disabling the security systems and… You’d realize you really don’t want to eat a bullet in the process, if not feed it to someone. You’d come down to the realization of how badly things can go from begining to end, and how it really doesn’t end there, how you would have to live a very tense life afterwards or how a team mate can just turn on you; before and after the heist. Hopefuly at some point you laugh at yourself but the simple realization that yer never gonna get it your way makes you mad and tense enough to double down. Not with the crime, but maybe pursue similar ambitions down the same path.

In other words, once you realize you are willing to rob a bank, maybe you realize you’re hard enough to seek a second job. Or do things far more mundane (and legal) that would otherwise have been either too boring or too much. It’s just that now? They don’t seem so bad at all, because that fiery first idea has vanished, but the ambition remains!

All that Valefor does is give you an inflaming speech before the great match, it is you who should not act dumb, like trying to punch other players mid-game. Yet if you step into the field with enough hateful frustration, you have a great heads up. Just needs of you to keep your cool, that’s all!

Tomorrow, or after tomorrow, I’ll post about the binding method. To give you an idea it just involves basic vampirism, because you surely know that the people you feed on might feel a pull to be nicer to you, because they are left with this impulse to solve their sudden lack of energy - and they only subconsciously know it has something to do with you. All you’re doing is keeping that energy hostage until they work your way, and the best part is that Valefor helps siphon it off and guard it inside a container, so that you do not contaminate yourself with their sickly vibes.

This is really interesting. I like the concept of vampirism in more legitimate and useful ways than portrayed in Hollywood, I also find Valefor very intriguing now because of his methods.
