Using blood in spells/ draining energy/ how to replenish it

i find that whenever i use blood in any spells (i’ve been using it carelessly lately but that’s stopping now) my energy is completely drained and i’m trying to find ways to replenish it. do any of you use blood in spells and have this issue? meditating has been helping but not that much

Also the earth, as it is grounded energy.
