Blindly trusting randoms is a recipe for disaster. At least learn how to get rid of them before you start something you can’t finish.

I would spend some time getting my protections in place, learning the basics and the landscape - know how to fix it if it turns out to be a problem. It’s like insurance - if you need it and don’t have it you’re in trouble. It doesn’t cost you anything to read up a bit first.

Have patience, they’re not going anywhere, and you can contact them when you are ready.

Alternatively, if you think these are know entities, BANISH and call them by name separately using known methods. This is considered the normal way to verify entities are who they say they are.
