Another option is to do it outside. You can take your petition, go to a park or playground where you’ll be undisturbed, read it, tear it, and then cast it to the wind.

I’ve cast my own petitions this way. If the weather is nice, you could even do a short meditation session prior to casting your petition. It can help make it feel a bit more magical.

Yes, that’s fine. You essentially cast it into running water which is a traditional method of petitioning.

Hello, I followed this tutorial because I have not developed my astral senses at all, nor can I astral travel yet. The point is that I was in a desperate situation and had little time to perform the ritual, so I did it as quickly as possible: I sat down to meditate while listening to the enn of the demon I wanted to petition, but I didn’t go into a trance at all. I just managed to relax a little (not much, you could say I was still stressed) and when I felt ready, I read my petition (though not out loud, I am obliged to do this in secret) and stained the sigil I poorly drew (really, when I compared it to the famous one, I realized I had made a mistake in drawing it that made it quite different, although you could easily tell which sigil it was) on the letter with my blood, quite a lot of my blood because I didn’t have any needles or lancets for diabetics, so I used a razor blade and ended up cutting myself more than I expected. Anyway, after that, I burned it and tried to get on with my day, although the problem I want to get rid of continued to affect me. I know things won’t happen right away, but the conditions under which I performed the ritual make me doubt that it will work. What do you think?
Petitions are meant to be simple. There is no need for trance or a seal or blood. None of that was necessary.
Now you have to do your best to let go and get on with life. The more you worry about doing it wrong, the more energy you draw into the worry. You planted the seed so don’t keep digging it up to see if it is growing yet.

Yes, you can petition your own god-self. If you scroll up, I have an example.

The Conjuration of All Magical Powers is a power up. It basically fills the magician with magical energy. In EA’s esoteric order, the OAA, it’s also called the Flame Chant.
