Here is something which I don’t know how to categorize, but I find it helpful!
Sort of like a “You are here” sign of the Cosmos…
I spent way too little timewith the Tibetan lamas in my area, but I was enormously impressed with them.
I like very much the view of Tibetan Cosmology as outlined in Robert Thurman in the Tibetan Book of the Dead.

Not to get all religi-fied, but I found the lamas to be very forthcoming with their knowledge, even “taboo” knowledge about sex tantra and such. The young geshe lama whom I met had an extremely vital energy and was capable of conducting his energy directly, and communicating extremely effectively.
