Here is a theory I’ve thought about is it possible that magick without an entity granting power is less potent or less powerful than if you use Magick with an entity lending or channeling their power through the Magick?
Is it even possible to do Magick without some sort of a force helping being or force?
You NEVER need an entity. You are more powerful than they are so no, magick without a spirit is not “less potent.” If anything, it’s stronger because it is all you, nothing else.
well while talking to a totem or a mature tree I realized that I never had more magic power than that so if you have a garden or a near forest try to defeat it with magick also if you are comfortable in a room any old faith should be more reliable than magic
All magick is possible without an entity. And it is every bit as potent.
All spells and trappings are just to help get you into the right headspace to do what you, the operator, can do. There is a theory of magic that all entities are just archetypal components of your brain.
Magick is a force of its own, I liken it to gravity. Strongest and best don’t truly come into the equation. What matters is your skill to draw on that force and leverage it to your will. So you don’t need other beings, but some of them might have greater ability than you do at the moment to draw and wield Magick. That is helpful, but by no means necessary.
There is no ceiling for Magick, only the ceilings of individuals, that is what determines power. If you wish to find the"best" Magick. Look to yourself.
