I read somewhere that one thing you can offer a demon when working with them is to put your Ascent in their name – I was wondering what that means and what that does
Essentially, it means you are swearing a bond to complete the Great Work, and it allows the spirit to gain power through your success.
It’s similar in concept to donating money to a charity in the name of a loved one who died. You are doing it to honour the person, and what they stood for, so when you swear your Ascension in the name of a god/demon/angel/anteater, you are doing the same.
