I honestly relate this video. I feel if you are more passive and kind people view this as a sign of weakness. A vulnerability not worthy of respect just to exploit. I felt like most of my life I wanted to be nice to people. But nice and people pleasing kind of gets intermingled as one definition.
I have personally seen how being direct, assertive, yet respectful has impacted my life for the better. To be in your own power feels better.
Another note it has helped me with my trauma with men and setting boundaries with them.
Saying no has been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself as a woman. I attract people who are for me not just attracted to me to use my energy of any sort.
