I have found that you are not required to see or speak with or directly communicate or hear a spirit to make a connection and know what’s up, this is very simple:
All you need: Yourself, a writing utensil, paper. Candle optional. Medical prick for blood optional.
You just draw the sigil of the spirit, then gaze at it until it flashes and lines disappear and reappear or not even that, hold your hands to it or pretend from your mind an invisible current of electricity flowing between you and the spirit. That’s it for activating the sigil.
For communication just speak to it out loud or in your mind as if its your imaginary friend.
Pay attention to any thoughts and feelings or impressions you get as some will be from the spirit (its really amazing when i get messages from one during a game of call of duty as strange stuff can happen in game and in the world around me).
A candle opens a more effective gateway, and blood super charges it.
You can even have it in your sight while doing something entirely different which i do sometimes due to A.D.D and it works still.
Personally i have very limited clairvoyance, zero clairaudience, and the ability to sense things to a small degree and this is what works for me.
You can get creative too and use many things for divination just don’t treat it as always 100% the same as the thoughts feelings and impressions, but don’t ignore the results you get, if you don’t get enough information just write down what little you do for each session and you will notice a pattern.
This works in a noisy enviroment, a quiet one, a day and night for me.
So what does everyone think of this and any advice on how i can take my Non-Clair magick further while developing these skills?

same … i am also very bad at communicating with spirits .
so when i want to ask them to do something for me , or even if i just want to reconnect with them a bit , i usually just do this . i use a sigil .
i don’t use any tools …
or do any complex rituals in general …
it is both because i don’t feel the need to , and because i am very limited due to how my household is .
even though lately , this is a bit risky for me too , since my mom found a sigil under my pillow and got extremely suspicious , especially since she caught me one more time before and knew what it meant .
she also found some other papers i didn’t want or expect her to find …
the only way now for me is to destroy the sigil immediately afterwards .

Yes i recommend destroying the sigils immediately, you dont need one under your pillow for it to work, its just a convenience, whats types of magick do you have experience with?

yes , i know that i don’t need to put one under my pillow . i just sometimes did that whenever i felt lonely .
what types of magic … ?
i am not very sure if what i do is called in a certain way , just that it is magic involving demons and as i said , very simple rituals .

the reason why i think that these simpler rituals work better for me … is because it is easier for me to focus on making my intent clearer and stronger .
meanwhile , the more complex a ritual is , the the harder it is for me to focus . because i have to constantly do it on other things …
like doing all of the steps right , getting all of the right tools …

have you thought of taking a pre-existing ritual, deconstructing it, ansd reconstructing it to be completely different for your needs?
