The New Avatar Power Reconsidered (Complete NAP Rituals 2.0)

For reference, I have tried channeling and trances (albeit via praying the rosary and contemplative prayer rather than the NAP ritual). Using those techniques alongside invocation and a servitor, I’ve got to 59% repeatedly. I think there’s definitely potential to blend the NAP ritual and Magickal Mentor into that, alongside the pendulum.

I’d also be interested in testing the techniques in Dahl’s The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar since that’s what inspired me to take on this work, and I think it’s somewhat viable from a chaos magickal perspective.

Back in 2013, i realized after months of using my cards that i’ve gained a certain familiarity with them to where i could kind of feel them after a while. To my way of thinking, that could have possibly led to artificially high stats through card familiarity. It seemed to me that this could be the occult version of advantage gambling in the forms of hole carding or card counting, which i wanted to avoid.

The answer for me was to move from physical cards to pseudorandom generators. I switched to using random.org to test random results some time in 2013. Random doesn’t allow you to directly manipulate your results, you get what you get regardless of what you do, so i felt the switch was an improvement over the cards.

Random also allowed me to create multiple card decks or decks with missing cards, letting me change the odds on the fly. My attitude was that the ability to keep a steady precognitive accuracy regardless of constantly shifting odds is a clearer sign that the card reading is legit and not just in your head.

These changes led to my results going all over the place, i admit. At the time i thought i just wasn’t getting the hang of this game, but i now believe this is because i took away my comfort zone and put myself in a position where i had to EARN my accuracy by simulating the true chaos that comes from real-world situations.

According to JB Rhine’s original precognition tests, the statistical average for card predictions is around 20%. Rhine expected five correct guesses by chance (out of 25 cards). For Rhine, the average person can get 33%. The ability to get 60% average is achievable by about 1 in 90,000 people. 100% accuracy he estimated at 1 in 300,000,000,000,000,000 people. So when i hear mages say things like ‘oh i get 99.7% accuracy in my divinations’ all i can do is laugh.

Probabilities and statistics benchmarks both keep you honest, and expose magickal bullshitters who pad their stats and denigrate or belittle others who don’t. Understanding how to calculate odds and their benchmarks is very useful in measuring actual skill.

Good idea with the random generators, I never would’ve thought of that! I’m currently switching between my collection of playing card decks. I have several, so that’s one way of keeping it random, but I’ll look into the generators as well. I’m mostly focused on using physical cards anyhow, re cartomancy, but I agree it could be a powerful way to enforce accuracy.

Can you elaborate on Rhine’s precognition tests here. I take it he is testing the ability to predict the correct suit and number here?

Dr. Rhine wanted to “know to a relative certainty that there was no trickery possible, no inconsistencies present, and no normal action occurring […] have a science […] about psychic phenomena.”

He used Zener cards (a variation of the tattvas in Indian system designed by Duke University professor Dr. Karl Zener) to test student subjects at Duke for psychic ability and accuracy.

I don’t know if Dr. Rhine truly proved psychic ability can be statistically tested, but i like the fact he tried to do so. He never found ways to actually develop those skills. Donna Eden and Draja Mickaharic are your go-to’s for that, via energy medicine drills and psychic exercises. Dr. Rhine’s tests are to statistically test the accuracy of your abilities, whatever those are.

Some populist psychology wonks say the Duke psychic tests were legit. Others in hard science counter the Duke data was either tampered with, or outright falsified. i"m inclined to think Rhine’s efforts were sincere but sloppy, and at least some of it was clearly compromised, but again i’m glad he at least tried. Anything that separates good occultism from the incredible amounts of fraudulent bullshit in the game is a great thing, as far as i’m concerned.

There are Rhine ESP test simulations online for anyone to find out how accurate their psychic skills are based on his methodology.

Thanks for explaining! I’ve experimented with zener cards before, actually, though with little success or praxis behind it. I’ll keep that in mind as well for future.

Also tested out your version of the NAP ritual. Very hard-hitting, thanks. What does the text below each of the angel invocations translate to, by the way? I assume it is Enochian?

Those are Golden Dawn-style Godnames and hte names inherent in the different spheres of the Tree of Life.

I wrote about some of them here, at least the ones i could figure out. Some of them are still a mystery to me.

Right right. I was more referring to this meditation, but I notice now it’s a different user. Sorry, thought it was the same user at first given the tarot-themed art and name.

No, that was also me.

Those spirits are Enochian spirits from the Great Table. They’re spirits of the Air sign of the Air season, which corresponds to the constellation Aquarius. The signs of the Air season are Aquarius (the Air of Air), Pegasus (the Earth of Air), Pisces (the Water of Air), and Aries (the Fire of Air), in that order.

Bataiva and Bataivh are the spirits of the star beta Aquarii (Sadalsuud). Avtotar is the spirit of the lunar mansion beta Andromedae (Mirach), which corresponds to Mercury of Air. Knowing what i know now, i would have used the spirit Hipotga (Saturn of Air) instead, who rules lunar mansion delta Arietis (Botein). Idoigo and Ardza open the way to speak to the kerubim in Enochian. Erzla rules over Rzla and Arzl. I am of the belief that Arzl is the spirit you call in the NAP Ritual, so i went through the entire chain of command to call from Godname down to the spirit for the assurance of Arzl’s compliance.

You don’t have to do all of that, but i did and it helped me make a lot of sense of the Enochian in the GD work. Whether Arzl is Arzel is beside the point. I now understand the Enochian spirit layout (i asked Arzel to explain it to me, and he did).

The spirits in NAP are mostly Solomonic but some are taken from Valentinian neoPlatonism, gnosticism, and the grimoires. You really don’t need to call on Enochian spirits to do NAP, but it sure does help

Noted, thanks. And this piece of text?

That’s the 6th Enochian key. The translation is as follows: 'The spirits of ye 4th Angle are Nine, Mighty in the firmament of waters: whom the first hath planted a torment to the wicked and a garland to the righteous: giving unto them fiery darts to fan the earth and 7699 continual workmen, whose courses visit with comfort the earth and are in government and continuance as the second and the third.

Wherefore harken unto my voice: I have talked of you and I move you in power and presence: whose Works shall be a song of honor and the praise of your God in your Creation.’

Again, knowing what i know now, i would have used the 3rd key instead. The 3rd key calls the spirits of the element of Air. The spirits of the 6th key are spirits of Fire.

NAP for Astral Projection

I put off writing my thoughts on this part of NAP because astral projection is a technique many people find hard to do.

I wanted to make sure i could vouch for the methods by getting them to work before i posted about them, and that required some practice.

I’ll admit projection isn’t a thing i do often. When i asked my guides for advice on the matter, i was led to read this Reddit post by Robert Gurriaran. This was a surprise to me because i almost never go on Reddit.

In his post, Robert gives a no-way-it-can’t-be-THAT-simple ‘No-Method’ technique in the first three sentences of paragraph 7 on his post. I tested it out by doing exactly what he said after the basic NAP Ritual, and it worked perfectly - i had a full and vivid astral projection that same night.

After that experience, i went a step further and read Robert’s book The Illusion of Method, where he explains the general principles behind seven different astral projection techniques. In chapter 8 he repeats his No Method technique as an alterative method for attaining projection or lucid dream states.

Robert’s technique makes perfect sense to me based on what i know about hypnosis. In hypnosis, dissociation is a hypnotic phenomenon related to being guided into somnambulism. Dissociation accompanied by visual and auditory hallucinations are the foundation of trance clairvoyance and clairaudience, and trance-derived astral projection can be induced from these phenomena using linguistic, somatic, or affect bridges on a somnambulist subject.

As Robert points out in his book, dissociation with hallucination also also happens as a matter of course when we fall asleep at night. We naturally drift in and out of a state of NREM sleep similar to the hallucinatory state in hypnotic somnambulism. This state is the launch point of both lucid dreams and astral projections. It doesn’t have to be guided, it happens on its own. For this reason, going into the NAP state and giving a posthypnotic suggestion to project upon falling asleep is a relatively simple yet valid way to train astral projection that makes projection a LOT easier than the many experts have made it out to be over the centuries.

For that reason, i recommend both Robert’s astral projection technique from his books (The Illusion of Method, and Astral Projection Without Tears).

Robert also outlines and explains the principles Michael Raduga’s Phase techniques in chapter 5 of his book, as well as the principles behind Geoff’s NAP technique in chapter 7 of his book. He admits he tried both and they do work very well in addition to his own technique, so working through these 3 methods will give a sincere student 5 different ways to project. AT least 1 of those 5 will gain entry to projection if worked with consistently for a week or two.

I therefore also recommend Michael Raduga’s The Phase method, and Geoff’s projection technique from NAP, which Robert combines with affirmations.

I plan to work with all 3 techniques over the next few months to see which one i prefer. When i gain steady results, i’ll update this topic on another thread.

I therefore leave these 3 astral projection techniques (5, with variations) here for consideration.

NAP layout and correspondences
NAP work operates based on a cosmology mapped to the Tree Of Life. Superimposed on this Tree are symbols from tarot and geomancy. Godnames connect to these mnemonic symbols, and spirit names are derived as subsections of these ciphers.

the Tree Of Life
The Tree Of Life developed from Plotinus’ 3 Hypostases model in neo-Platonism:
Hypostases
These hypostases became the Four Worlds concept in kabbalism.

These Hypostases were the psychological counterpoint to the Ptolemaic astronomical geocentric model:
geocentric_heliocentric-580x310
The geocentric model was disproven in astronomy by Galileo and other researchers centuries ago, yet remains as a central tenet in ritual magick work. Magick is rather backward-leaning and resistant to change by nature. Understand that NAP is a form of symbolic psychology rather than a science, so the metaphorical model is based more on following symbolism for trancework exploration rather than scientific or mathematical accuracy. Perhaps in the future the theoretical physicists may develop a model of the universe that can be used for inner exploration. Until then, this is the model neo-Platonists, kabbalists, and Jungian researchers use.

Correspondences (keyscales, letters, objects, tarot cards, and geomancy)
The structure of the tarot in NAP is laid out using keyscales and letters. These keyscales exist as both letters and as astrological objects. This basic layout is:

Adding geomantic figures and tarot cards to the above gives the following:

The combination of the Tree with tarot and geomancy correspondences creates a basic matrix table for mapping the esoteric Mind Of God.

I made my changes to the information Crowley printed in Liber 777 after years of following his correspondences. Through trial and error, i used revisions that make sense to me, and i put some of them in my own basic tables here.

I also reorganized Great Table into smaller Tables based on my own experiences working with NAP. This process is ongoing, but as i continue to subdivide the info, i gain more clarity in doing NAP work.

This is how i’ve divided and subdivided the tables, and some of the general realizations i’ve had doing so to date:

Table I: Spirit Actives & Spirit Passives
Table 1

Table IIa: Lesser Pentagrams

Table IIb: Lesser Hexagrams

Table II: Lesser Pentagrams & Lesser Hexagrams

Table III: 12 Zodiac Signs (Greater Pentagrams)

Table IIIb: 16 Constellations (Lesser & Greater Pentagrams)

Table IV: Greater Hexagrams
Crowley wrote his lunar mansion in Liber 777, column CLXXXIV. After noticing Crowley’s errors in the matter, i did a year’s worth of study and ritual work, then rewrote the 28 lunar mansions under their seasonal and planetary sub-attributions and placed them under Wisdom on the Tree Of Life. To my way of thinking, the Tree’s spheres relate to Wisdom, connecting the elemental Hexagram attributes to their related planetary zones. The natural object mansions then mirror Wisdom in its objective counterpart, the Stars (Mazloth).

I further separated the Wisdom/Stars table into its individual seasonal sub-attributes for clarity. I then get:

Table IVa: Spring element Hexagrams

Table IVb: Summer element Hexagrams

Table IVc: Fall/Autumn element Hexagrams

Table IVd: Winter element Hexagrams

Table V: the Septagrams
For this table i placed the 7 classical planets together with their related modern planets. Over the years i’ve seen different authors place Uranus in Wisdom, Neptune in the Crown, but that makes no sense to me because the astrological attributes do not connect when you attribute the planets in that way. I also reorganized the keyscales into a days of the week order from Sunday to Saturday.

I re-imagined a form of the planetary attributes to represent the 7 star classes, which places the stars of the nighttime sky under both Wisdom and their corresponding spheres in the Tree.

I use these tables to organize my understanding of the aspects of the Tree Of Life. Some of this information is unique to my understanding of the Tree, and some of it contradicts what other authors have written. Oh well.

I haven’t put Godnames or spirit names into these arrays. This is for attributing geomancy and tarot to the Tree. With this understanding, applying the Godnames and other esoteric forces to the Tree is a lot easier.

Esoteric names from various traditions can be found using any of the magician’s array books Liber 777 by Aleister Crowley, Liber 776 1/2 by James A. Eshelman, or The Complete Magicians’ Tables by Stephen Skinner.

To my way of thinking, anything beyond kabbalism in those tables is questionable, so ask questions before you go calling non-kabbalist cosmologies using the Tree Of Life - it’s not a universal system.

All of this is information is subject to change and revision as i learn more about the cosmology. Some of it is proprietary, but i print it here as open-source material for researchers to consider in their own experiments. Any practical feedback or success stories using this modified Tree layout with its correspondences is greatly appreciated.

The Titanic Rite
The Titanic Rite is by far the most powerful technique in the New Avatar Power.

The way it’s explained in the book is somewhat obscure and some important info for using it properly is missing. It’s also tricky to understand the Titanic Rite’s moving parts because the less important setup takes up more mental space while the powerful parts are presented as an afterthought.

The trick is to focus on the BACK end actions in the Titanic Rite, while recognizing the complex setup as a technical exercise. The front-end actions of setting up NAP so the back-end can do its work.

The Titanic Rite uses a technique similar to the one in both It Works by RH Jarrett. It’s 100% possible to skip the Rite and just use Jarrett’s advice because Jarrett makes the technique much simpler. Doing the It Works technique a few times before attempting the Titanic Rite can help keep focus on the intention statements and avoid an over-concern with the intricacies of doing the Middle Pillar setup.

I am of the opinion that you should write your request BEFORE you create your request setup statement so you keep your focus on what really matters. With the It Works technique, all you use is the request. Geoff’s Titanic Rite precedes this request with 1 of 2 request setup structures, which he doesn’t explain in NAP but is known in Golden Dawn and grimoire work. This request setup adds keys, Godnames, and Scale colors to either Attract or Repel things and events from a person’s life to the basic structure Jarrett has in his book.

I rearranged Geoff’s array to make it even simpler to read and understand. My rearrangement is here:

Geoff’s Spheres array (from NAP p146)
Spheres
This way, you read straight across the row and add that info into your request structures, cut & paste style. The request setup writes itself. This frees you up to focus on writing the request either on the front or back end. The arrays can quickly become confusing if you don’t keep your focus. This way of working with them allows you to write your request without getting lost in convolution.

The Titanic Rite activates the array info and request structures using the NAP Ritual with the Middle Pillar and Circulation Of The Body Of Light (Geoff calls these the Five New Avatar Power Gates, NAP Circulation Ritual, NAP Fountain Ritual, and Invocation to strengthen the Fountain in his book). By visualizing a change in the sphere colours, you set up your mindstate to give your requests. All of this forms the front end hypnotic induction for the Titanic Rite.

Adding 2 keywords from the Golden Dawn allows the creation of 2 types of request: invocation requests, and evocation requests. Geoff doesn’t give this info in NAP, but it can really help to know this.

Invocation requests in NAP-style kabbalism are done using the word Ehyeh (I Am). Law Of Attraction teachers will tell you the power of I Am in making requests, it’s a profound addition to NAP to use this word. Ehyeh invokes the powers or qualities of a Godname or corresponding spirit name into yourself. Empowered with that quality, you and the spirit you’ve called in combine to tag team the issue. Based on how i rewrote Geoff’s array, the request structure becomes 'Ehyeh. I am you,’ + Godname + ‘in the sphere of’ + Scale Color + Tree Of Life/Object + ‘I NN invoke you. Together we shall…’ + Request.

Evocation requests are done using the word AGLA (You are mighty forever, Lord). This is a salutation that greets the spirit you’re calling with respect, before asking them to do something for you. Based on how i rewrote Geoff’s array, the request structure will be ‘AGLA. You are mighty forever, Lord’ + Godname + ‘in the sphere of’ + Scale Color + Tree Of Life/Object + ‘I NN ask you to…’ + Request.

Geoff didn’t explain request structures properly in NAP. This is how i create mine.

As you read on, i’ll use the examples Geoff gave on pp147-9 of his original NAP book to show how the Titanic Rite works with these request structures. But before i do that, i have to cover what you do with the request structures.

NAP Visualization (with 2 variations)
Geoff uses the Middle Pillar color spheres and requests to do visualization. Here’s the thing about this. Many advanced magicians tend to assume most people have skills they don’t actually have. People who read a lot of fiction, artists who draw, and mathematicians tend to have great imaginations and excellent visualization skills, but most people in the general public do not. You have to train to visualize properly. You shouldn’t assume top visualization skill unless you verify the presence of that ability.

For that reason, i recommend using geomancy and tarot cards with Win Wenger’s Windtunneling exercise to do the Titanic Rite at first, to train visualization ability while still doing the Rite. This allows you to learn by doing instead of taking extra time off to do tedious visualization drills.

Visualizing using tarot and geomancy symbols to train your visualization skills, which allow you to develop a strong imagination and the ability to hold visuals in the mind for long periods of time through progressive training. When your visual skills are strong enough, you can ditch the cards if you want and just use your imagination to continue the work using the Middle Pillar as Geoff instructs.

It’s a deal of crawl before you walk, walk before you run, but do each step in a way that develops your skillset the quickest.

Another way to train visualization is to actively use Vision Boards with self-talk in the form of values elicitations, descriptions, reframes, and question chains with embedded commands.

When your visuals kick in, verbal description and command/questions tell your deep mind what you want it to do in a language it understands. The deep mind thinks in colors, shapes, and pictures, so stimulating visuals is how you get it to listen to you, and altering those visuals is how you speak to it. That part of your mind will respond to your prompts by releasing chemicals through your limbic system, which changes your emotional tone. This is ACTIVE emotion, not the reactive emotions most people feel. It’s a very different technique the New Thought authors called Thinking. Esoteric thinking involves thoughts empowered by active emotions that lead to a physiological change. Theorizing is not thinking, neither is rage-baiting or unthinking kneejerk response (for example, jumpscares or engaging in rage-bait and outrage porn). In today’s world many people pass those things off as thinking, but they’re not, they’re REACTIONS. Thinking actively and purposefully engages all 3 brains in tandem under a state change, and causes tangible changes in the emotional tone and body’s biometrics. Only when you engage the 3 brains and engender physical change do Thoughts Become Things. Otherwise you’re idly daydreaming or reacting.

Different hypnotic patter techniques can be used to accomplish this self-talk, including Richard Bandler and John Grinder’s Meta Model, Dr. Milton Erickson’s Milton Models used with embedded questions, descriptions, and commands, Robert Dilts’ Sleight Of Mouth Patterns, some of the useful REBT question types, David Grove’s Clean Language questions, and other psychological techniques.

It’s not necessary to use all of these question structures! Just grab 1 or 2 question, description, or command formats and repeat them by changing the content of your words. The repetition of the structure will open the mind.

Win Wenger’s Windtunneling allows these verbal techniques to stimulate the deep mind into believing and accepting your ideas. Once your deep mind locks into the characters and acts in the scenes that involve the events you want in your life, it becomes a movie in your mind that your mind wants to bring into reality.

Below are examples of how to use the above information, based on what Geoff wrote in NAP:

a. Obtaining gold.
Geoff wrote the request as ‘i wish to receive $10,000 worth of gold.’ This request fits key 6 in his array, which represents Beauty on the Tree Of Life.

Geoff wrote this as an evocation ritual which uses the AGLA structure: ‘AGLA. You are mighty forever, Lord’ + Godname + ‘in the sphere of’ + Scale Color + Tree Of Life/Object + ‘I NN ask you to…’ + Request.’

Combining the AGLA structure with key 6 info and Geoff’s array and his request, i create this mantra: ‘You are mighty forever, Lord YHVH Eloh ve-Daath in the sphere of Golden Beauty. I Geoff Gray-Cobb ask you to bring me $10,000 worth of gold.’

Geoff would then do the NAP ritual, followed by the Middle Pillar. He’d imagine the 5 spheres turning gold, then recite this statement while imagining what he wanted.

I suggest doing the visualization using geomancy and tarot cards instead of the Middle Pillar because it’s easier for people who have trouble visualizing. The Fortuna Major geomantic symbol drawn in Gold on white paper can work for this. Or, the Sun (to represent the Godname in key 6) with 6 of Pentacles (to represent the request).

Notice that the request cards match the keyscale, so key 7 would use 7 cards in the Minor Arcana, key 5 would use 5 cards, etc. This is because the Minor Arcana cards represent fixed stars and higher spirituality, while the Major Arcana cards represent planets and more direct spirituality. In this case, the cards describe the energies of the Sun conjunct alpha Tauri (Aldebaran). Geoff didn’t put this information in his arrays, but i did. You’ll see this when you check my tables; i put it under the Greater Earth Hexagrams and Spring element Hexagrams tables. The way i wrote it, you use the 2 of Pentacles with 6 of Pentacles to work with Aldebaran alone. Geoff’s way of doing this is to work the star with the planet, hence Sun and 6 of Pentacles. Both ways work fine, depending on what you want to do. I will say that Geoff’s way of doing this has more practical application, but the way i do it causes all types of lights to shine on you, it’s uncanny how that happens when you do that daily.

Double-check to make sure the conjunctions work for you rather than against you. Not all of the star/planet conjunctions are beneficial, and some can ruin your life if you attract instead of repelling them. The way around this is to reverse the star or planet cards that work against your goals; this neutralizes baneful energies.

To visualize this goal using tarot with Windtunneling, you look the cards for about 10 to 15 minutes and describe yourself INSIDE the card’s scene as if it’s happening to you in 3D. The key is to ask yourself questions that spur your imagination: ‘Why am i so ___?’ or ‘How do i feel now that ___?’ or Now that ___, what will i do next?’ or ‘What do i see/hear/feel now that ___?’ You do this nonstop for the full 15 minutes. By doing this, you begin seeing images. As you see them, describe what you see and speak to those images, affirming that you see them. ‘I see ___, how do i feel about seeing/hearing/feeling ___?’ or ‘I see/hear/feel ___. What will i do now that ___?’

Windtunneling gives a more stable and assertive visualization technique than the Middle Pillar, which is less stable and more suitable for intellectually creative people with greater imaginations.

A third way you can do this that works similar to tarot cards is to create a vision board that you speak to daily. Stare at the images on your vision board and ask yourself ‘how do i feel now that i…’ as you describe yourself already having what’s on your vision board in great detail.

Describe in detail what it is to interact with everything you have on your board. So if you have a mansion on the vision board, ‘how do i feel now that i own this mansion free and clear’ and describe walking into and out of every room in the mansion, what you see, what’s in the rooms, the wall colors, what you see outside the windows, the floor or carpets, furniture, and everything related to it as you walk inside of the mansion, then outside around the mansion, looking at the lawn and parking lot, in the garage, etc.

Do this for EVERY item on your vision board daily until you’re living in that mansion and possess all of those things, and repeat this Windtunnel daily in your NAP ritual until you get what you want.

b. Sending a present to a friend
Geoff wrote the request as ‘Send my friend the books he needs.’ He put this under key 8 as an evocation.

The AGLA structure with key 8 info becomes the statement ‘AGLA. You are mighty forever, Lord Elohim Tzabaoth in the sphere of Orange Charisma. I Geoff Gray-Cobb ask you to send my friend (friend’s name) the books he needs (name the books).’

Geoff’s take on this is to use the Middle Pillar as an energy-raising technique, changing the 5 sphere colors to Orange while he imagines his friend receiving books. Windtunneling using an Orange Albus geomantic figure drawn on a white page and/or the Magician tarot card with the 8 of Wands or 8 of Swords reversed gives the same effect.

c. Gaining the love of a partner.
Geoff’s request is ‘I desire a loving partner’ and the key he used is 7. This is an invocation ritual because it requires internal qualities to manifest.

Writing this with the I Am structure and key 7 info gives ‘Ehyeh. I invoke your powers, YHVH Tzabaoth in Emerald Green Victory. Together we shall manifest the loving partner i desire.’ This is the NAP version of love magick, which is more permissive than much of the love magick you find on other posts on this board.

With this mantra, you do the NAP ritual and Middle Pillar ritual, changing the color to Emerald Green while imagining the person you want. Or, draw an Emerald Green Puella geomantic figure on white paper and/or use the Empress and 7 of cups reversed tarot cards, while describing the exact qualities you want in a suitable person.

This acts to separate the right person out of the crowd of suitors who may not have the qualities you want, allowing the cream to rise to the top of the pile. It’s equally important to make sure YOU are also THEIR fit; far too many people want to start a vibe they themselves can’t maintain because they only see what they want, not who they are.

A vision board version of this Rite would include couples photos doing couples things, with general pictures of people who turn you on. These pictures would have many pictures of different people who fit a certain type rather than one public figure to obsess over, which isn’t healthy. Having many people who fit a type broadens your options while still keeping them focused.

d. Debt repayment
Geoff wrote this request as ‘I wish to be free of debt’ and put this under key 3. This is an evocation request using a banishing color.

Its AGLA structure gives ‘AGLA. You are mighty forever, Lord YHVH Elohim in Indigo Understanding. I NN wish to be free of debt.’

With this mantra, you do the NAP ritual and Middle Pillar, imagine the spheres turning Indigo, and then imagine the debts being cleared and the debtor going away. Or, you draw an Indigo Carcer geomantic figure on white paper, and/or lay out the Judgment tarot card with either 3 of Pentacles, 3 of Wands, 3 of Cups, or 3 of Swords reversed, depending on which one fits your situation (there are many reasons for falling into debt. As a matter of fact, the proper use of debt is a great wealth-building strategy, and this NAP ritual can be used just as much to remove bad debt from a private equity investment or guiding large-scale loans to fund a commercial project as it is to clear credit card debts, refinance a home, or deal with creditors and repossession agents. Whether the debt is good debt that brings you wealth or bad debt that can ruin your credit, this exercise can be used by a prudent person, it’s more versatile than it seems. Life happens to everybody.

A vision board could contain debt relief or debt settlement letterheads, an accountant sheet with $0 under liabilities, or photos of a person cutting a ball and chain off of themselves. Anything that makes a person feel like debt is a thing of the past works for this.

e. Remove undesirable character traits
This is an invocation or banishing ritual using Ehyeh structure. Depending on whether you want to repel a trait or attract a good one, you use the King or Queen scale color. The traits you want or don’t want will be related to one of the 7 spheres, so think carefully about which one you’ll invoke to either remove or add the quality you want.

Then do the NAP ritual and Middle Pillar, changing the sphere to the scale color you use, imagining yourself with the quality you want or without the quality you don’t want. You can also lay out the proper tarot cards for this.

In all cases, you do the Titanic Ritual DAILY until you get what you want. Geoff’s Ritual really does work, but you must persist. The 6th & 7th Books of Moses says ‘be steadfast in your work and faith, for the doubter will obtain nothing.’

For the record, the Titanic Rite also works with the tables i wrote. These are the Godnames for my tables:

My smaller tables are as follows:

The request structure creation and Request formation is the same as in the Titanic Rite.

The NAP setup and Middle Pillar are also the same.

Visualizing with the Middle Pillar color change, tarot or geomancy cards, or vision boards is again the same.

I simply expanded Geoff’s array to include all of the spheres and objects, and added letters, tarot cards, and geomancy symbols for the sake of stronger visualizations.

I’ve been given many hints that my spirits don’t want me on BALG anymore, so i’m going to wrap this up as quick as i can.

Magickal warfare
Protecting yourself from goofs is an important part of occultism.

By goof i don’t mean a stupid person. I mean predators such as sucker punchers, child molesters, rapists, or thugs who beat up on elders and the disabled.

I’d be lying if i said spiritual attacks don’t happen. THEY HAPPEN A LOT and any magician who tells you otherwise is lying to you.

There’s a lot of dishonesty on the subject of spiritual violence and spiritual assault. Understand that occult karma really comes down to the violent drunkard mentality of You Hurt My Ego I Must Hurt You, so there’s often no real morality to magicians’ moral codes.

The same Love And Light types who swear blind spiritual violence is overrated or nonexistent are themselves the first to kick you in the crotch when their egos are bruised. A book that explains the dynamics of dealing with this type is Why Does He Do That? by Lundy Bancroft. Despite the title of that book, both men and women have these traits and display these tendencies.

You don’t have to look far on this board to find posts by people looking to get way with cursing others for no reason other than they felt like it. And yes, that includes Intranquil Spirit Love Spells, which are a persistent type of cursing that seems to be popular around BALG.

Not to mention the active extortion tradition in magick of occultists who will single you out to put curses on you for free, then charge you to remove the same curses they put on you.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure when it comes to your spiritual safety. Spiritual protection is an involved process, including establishing a full energy-raising technique you do often to keep your personal vibrations high, maintaining wards and warnings around yourself to warn about incoming bad vibes, and understanding what to do when you are under a real attack by a legit pest.

Don’t stop at NAP’s chapter on the subject, which is rudimentary. Read as many books on spiritual assault and spiritual violence as you possibly can, and go a step further in reading books on real violence. I recommend Sgt. Rory Miller’s Violence: A Writer’s Guide, Patrick Van Horne and Jason Riley’s Left Of Bang, Varg Freeborn’s Violence Of Mind, Tim Larkin’s Survive The Unthinkable, Tim’s How to Survive The Most Critical 5 Seconds of Your Life, and Varg’s Beyond OODA. These books aren’t about magick, they’re about violence from the point of view of a man of war. That type of hard thinking is a sure panacea for the fear many people have of engaging in magickal combat, and gives a taste for the kind of mindset you need to have so other occultists get a Don’t Fuck With Him/Her vibe off of you.

Spiritual assault and spiritual violence is almost always built on rape revenge dynamics, or some other form of psychological and physical humiliation. Especially read any reality-based book on domestic violence, because the victim of magickal assault often resembles a DV case. I recommend No Visible Bruises by Rachel Snyder.

Understanding the mindset of an antisocial pest and the mindset you need to have to defend yourself from them is unpleasant but important, and will underlie the determination you need to have when it’s time to trade blows with a vindictive witch.

Again, the majority of spiritual violence perpetrators want a vulnerable victim who can’t defend themselves. They tend to back down quickly when they find themselves in a back-and-forth against a live dog with a killer instinct who bites back and means business.

As far as magickal warfare is concerned, the techniques in Geoff’s book are very straightforward and geared toward situations where the attack is very obvious.

The basic premise behind this is to do the NAP Ritual, Middle Pillar and Circulation Of The Body Of Light (or any other energy-raising technique you know of), and then read the commands multiple times. Geoff uses the Shemhamphorash angels for attack and defense.

The exorcism to repel evil spirits technique uses the NAP Ritual, NAP defensive armor ritual, and IESU Evocation from chapter 10 of the book. The IESU Evocation is the Name Exercise from chapter X (pp52 - 59) and chapter XIV (pp69 - 70) in Olive Pixley’s book The Armour Of Light, Part 1. Olive’s book is out of print now and hard to find, but Gareth Knight has a clear explanation on how to do the Name Exercise in his book Occult Exercises and Practices, in the Appendix on Psychic Self-Defense (pp84 - 86).

On a more modern side note:

In today’s world where occultism isn’t a secret anymore, magickal warfare is often very subtle and comes in the forms of energy vampirism, monitoring spirits, remote influence in the form of telepathic brainwashing or behaviour manipulations, destiny-swapping and other forms of theft, spiritual impersonation, blame-shifting, isolation via and gossip attacks, trojan horse attacks, or bindings with intranquil spirits and other nasties.

For that reason, the NAP chapter on spiritual warfare only scratches the surface on the topic, and the world has moved on greatly from the days when Geoff wrote his book. There’s a lot more to the topic today than what Geoff wrote back in the 1970s, a LOT more.

The more subtle forms of spiritual assault can be explained by narcissistic behaviours. This narcissistic spirituality has become a social phenomenon due to the rise and popularity of different forms of New Age Movement such as Prosperity Doctrine, Law Of Attraction, and Spiritual Tourism. In a world where You Are Your Own God or you Become A Living God, the idea that you answer to no one but yourself enables immature types ot abuse those who they can coerce to bow to their dominance.

Recovery from Narcissistic Abuse, Gaslighting, Codependency and Complex PTSD by Linda Hill has many workbooks for understanding the dynamics behind Bitchcraft and Guru Syndrome. This topic can become very complex, so there’s no need to be an expert on everything related to it. Take only what applies to your various situations.

There are a number of other well-written books specifically dealing with anathema and magickal warfare. It helps to read as many of them as you can, to get a feel for the different ways you can defend yourself. I don’t have to name any books here, a quick search on Amazon will give you dozens of titles, there are plenty of books on the subject nowadays.

It also helps to read books on magickal attack and defense by putting yourself in both positions, that of the attacker and that of the victim.

In the attacker’s position, ask yourself is this justified? Every witch thinks they’re justified in attacking somebody, but let your conscience be your guide if you have one. In the victim’s position, ask yourself how can i turn this attack around? What would i do to defend myself from someone doing this to me?

The more you understand about the dynamics of spiritual situational awareness, spiritual attack and spiritual defense, the better off you’ll be in the long run.

I also want to put in a word for Spirit Releasement Therapists. Again, in today’s world spiritual attacks are so much more subtle than they used to be. In many cases, you come into occultism with negative beings already attached to you, or many type of nasty energy are put on you without your awareness, and often you carry these things for years without having the slightest clue you’re being burdened by the Evil Eye. So SRT is something every occultist should take the time to look in, if for no other reason than to check for any unforseen issues or potential problems down the road.

Protect yourself in occultism as you do in real life. People don’t suddenly become saints just because their behaviour is invisible to the naked eye. If anything, some people will use the fact that nobody knows what they’re doing to do things they shouldn’t be doing. Therefore, Stay Ready.
