It’s common knowledge that willpower and intention are fundamental keys which make magick possible. But what is the true power of magick? Interest itself is what fuels the passions which ignite our will. When a thing causes you to experience profound inspiration, that is when magickal experiences are bound to happen. Will alone without genuine interest can cause a work to be cold, rigid, dull, and dry like dogma. When you are genuinely interested in your own pursuit, then your brain awakens and you open yourself up to the unknown. Interest causes us to light up within and when those energies are raised it opens the veil to allow magick to happen. Learn to awaken the spark of interest and then cultivate that spark into a flame. Along with willpower, genuine interest can make possible just about anything.
