I’ve decided to follow through on the infernal side of magick and dedicate myself to learning and practicing it, but I’ve also taken a keen interest in ascension and ascended masters, I read a post here saying they can either A: phase out with the physical body to ascend or B: not take the physical body but the energy body, I’ve been wondering what stage they would be at in terms of magick, and set a goal for myself to try to achieve similar feats, I’ve done a ritual recently from the post about the Infernal Empires history but would love some pointers for starting out after that point. Thanks to anyone that could help! (Since I don’t know what to start off with after, the posts in searching don’t clarify much on it, so I’d like a expert opinion lol)
Not an expert opinion but giving some leads/where I’d start looking for the information.
So the book that gets the closest that I’ve read is Ordo Ascensum Aetyrnalis by E.A. Koeting. It doesn’t cover that exact thing, but by the time you finish you would have done similar things that you could use to figure it out. Also, you would be introduced personally to several ascended masters that you could just ask.
Also you could try choosing an ascended master and having them teach you.
A lot more books have information on that. The first step would basically be to learn soul travel and then it would be a little more advanced than that. So depending on what kind of path you’re after their is Ordo Ascensum Aetyrnalis again, Koeting’s soul travel course (this explicitly goes over it), many books on vampirism, and anything on soul travel/astral projection would be a start. I also think some Daoism schools teach this, but I’m not sure.
