My question would be why is this important? Most magick in this branch is done to complete a goal of some kind. Similar operations on the energetic level of the creation of servitors and egregores can be fashioned to create what amounts to a spiritual automaton of varying complexity based on programming.
The magical equivalent of bioengineering while interesting would require resources, time and dedication that most do not have the time or inclination to spend on such a project.
