Have you ever experienced any effects from this ritual , I’m going to invoke mars today I need to overcome some challenge, Is this really beneficial ? We are out of mercy retrograde So it’s seems like perfect timing, What’s your thoughts and recommendations ?
According to the comments here it’s not thx anyways hahahahaha no one actually shared experience in regards to this ritual so I guess there isn’t much to talk about
it works but regarding to what you want to do LBRP is enough
I’ve only had positive experiences with the LBRP. BALG put up a video explaining the method. I often wonder why EA only included half of the ritual. Leaving any ritual half done or mixing up bits and pieces can have unintended consequences. A lesson from this is Crowley’s Abramelin working at Boleskin house; years of poltergeist activity followed after the ritual was left uncompleted (it burnt to the ground under mysterious circumstances quite recently).
If you want the complete LBRP might I recommend the method described in Israel Regardie’s “The Middle Pillar” especially the edition with the Sandra and Chic Cicero commentary? I use Regardie’s method and the results have always left a palpable sense of auric and spatial cleansing.
I haven’t tried the greater banishing ritual; the LBRP seems to suit my needs but would be glad to hear about your experiences.
The LBRP/LIRP work to align the operator or call forth the specific elements while the lesser hexagram rituals do the same with specific planetary forces. As well as rid the space of unwanted energies and entities.
The Greater rituals of the pentagram according to alpt of the texts dealin with it, it is used to consecrate a temple space and rather than align the operator it aligns the work space of the operator to be more conductive of the work.
For what you are describing that you need it for, yes, it should be fine. It does work.
Also, it is worth studying and practicing the LBRP beyond it’s use as a banishing. It is a centering exercise, visualization practice, vibration practice, etc.
It can be used as a form of internal banishing when used in a certain fashion in combination with the sign of Horus.
The LBRP sets the fundamentals for you to later use invoking/banishing of all the elements, not just the Earth banishing pentagrams you use in the standard LBRP.
The two signs (Enterer & Silence) are a kind of mini-rite in and of themselves, with multiple layers of symbolism and uses.
It is worth learning in and out the original version. There are some non-RHP versions that work well for banishing or calling elements, but there simply is no substitute for the original. It really is not worth trying to make an LHP version until one knows what is going on with the original, in and out, IMO.
One note: the BALG video showing the LBRP is missing so much it is not even funny. Used as a technique for banishing I suppose it is just fine, but if you want to really get the most out of the ritual then I would suggest the original. As I said, there is a lot going on, and while some tout the merits of improvisation and personalization, I personally find no value with trying to write my own version of a ritual until I know every shred of what is happening in the original. Knowledge is power, even knowledge that some consider superfluous to our magickal efforts.
The Rituals of the Pentagram & Hexagram are complete evocation/invocation and exorcism rituals in and of themselves.
EA doesn’t mention them in his Mastering Evocation program, and i don’t understand why. They not only perfectly set up your Brain & Heart Magnetic fields for ritual magick, they have sections within them that build your Mesmeric power to draw and send energy.
The Pentagram ritual is powerful for either clearing your mind and your environment, or drawing elements into you. You can combine the banishing and invoking to banish some elements while invoking others, or even to banish some aspects of an element while invoking other.
The Pentagram ritual also includes the Kabbalistic Cross, a form of chakra balancing that raises and circulates biomagnetic energy within body. A more elaborate version of the KC is the Middle Pillar Ritual, which is usually given separately from the Pentagram rituals, but they are the same thing in different levels of sophistication. This raising and circulating magnetic energy in either formula is very useful for doing Mesmeric breathwork healing or Reiki, and there are now modern healing techniques built around this formula alone.
As for the Hexagram ritual, again it’s very powerful for banishing or invoking the properties of the planets. There are so many benefits to doing the Hexagram ritual that i can’t list them all here. Magick novices who don’t understand how to conjure and evoke spirits can learn the exact method for doing so by using the Hexagram rituals. I now understand the meaning behind calling the planetary spirits in certain grimoires.
With the Pentagram & Hexagram rituals, you have pretty much everything you need to know to use Liber Juratus Honorii (the Grimoire of Pope Honorius), for example. The conjuration of the Kings and 7 Days of the week correspond to doing the Pentagram and Hexagram rituals by calling the elements and one of the planetary hexagram points daily. It is a complete system in and of itself that requires no other outside knowledge.
Up until now i haven’t concentrated on using the Hexagram rituals, but i plan to in the near future now that i understand them better. The Pentagram & Hexagram rituals are complete workings, and many of the other WMT formulae in the GD and Thelemic systems are simply elaborations upon what is already in these formulae.
In my personal experience, there was a time when i was under severe magickal attack. I did nothing but the LBRP for a week straight. At that time, i literally only knew how to do the LBRP, i had no other knowlede of any other magickal technique, not even sigilization. So i made up for that by doing the LBRP as often as i could, sometimes a dozen times a day in my room. Each time i’d banish to each quarter 4 times. At the end of the formula, i could feel the air around me changed. It was almost as if the formula was a vacuum cleaner, sucking the spiritual tone out of the area i was in. I took note of that, but the work i did came in handy one day when my house was broken into by thieves. Every room was raided and stolen from except for the one i did the LBRP in, even though i left the door wide open. Nothing was touched in that room. Get this. Even when the police came over to investigate, they DIDN’T ENTER THAT ROOM. I’d done dozens of banishings in there and the only person who’d walk in that room was me.
Also want to point out: if you plan to use the Banishing Pentagrams, include the Rose Cross Ritual as well. Banishing Pentagrams light you up on the astral. The RCR makes you clandestine, which hides you and prevents you from being (re)-attacked after the fact. For your safety.
Wanted tack on a caution note on this one.
It effects the awareness others in general both spiritual and the everyday consciousness of others. As a result acts as a type of mild invisibility in the form of peoples awareness of you being dulled to various degrees.
It isn’t that you physically shift visibility or anything but peoples ability to perceive your presence is diminished.
This could complicate you day to day life if for example you work in a sales job or like mine if it has you on the road most of the day.
Does drawing the Rose Cross look different from drawing a standart catholic cross? I haven’t started Regardie’s books and I couldn’t find any info on how to draw it properly.
If i am remembering correctly the golden dawn textbook has it. There are probably some smaller texts or pdfs floating around with it but that was my first exposer to it. Ya can find it on amazon easy enough if no local supply stores carry it. It has been awhile since I’ve used anything from that system. Most of what i use now is either norse or arhimanian related these days
Thanks! I’ll look into it then
That’s why I do it when I am at home and the wife also has a day off…
