Dr. Adam H. Thoth from the first Left Hand Path themed feature film screenplay A New Day. The latest incarnation of the current brought into existence by the collective will of modern magicians and fans alike. On understanding Direct Current.
As we see above all these gods and heroes sprout from the current and grow out into a culture to become anthropomorphised as a full on god within the Pantheon.
The source of the current can be found by taking the most common attributes and distilling them down to the bare concepts of which they represent.
For example all the above gods have the common attributes such as wisdom, knowledge, intellect and the faculties of the mind. This base is branched from to go from broad range concept to a more narrow and specific concept. A current of knowledge wisdom sprouts to become a specific god such as Greek Hermes and Athena. Both are faculties of the mind Athena is strategy and skill where as Hermes is logic and language.
The ancients would often give gender to the attributes they saw as the compliment to the other.
Left brain attributes complimented by right brain attributes.
This of course applies to the other currents and masks as well, such as sun gods Ra, Apollo, Lugh etc. The main process of achieving direct current is the distillation of masks down to the most base concepts of the current.
Rather than be connecting to the god through a masks you go directly to the source by recognizing and being aware of it’s much larger primordial self. The masks are just tips to the icebergs of the currents.
