This one’s on repeat for me since it was released. I love the reimagining of the mythical “Crossroads deal”. Love the soul/ blues feel of the track that goes with it. Ren, the artist with the British accent on this track, played the guitar on this. I absolutely f**kin’ love how he incorporated tritones (a certain tonal interval) in that last solo The dissonant tones apparantly promoted the “diabolica in musica” and were forbidden or at least heavily avoided in church music to avoid demonic influences.

My mom introduced to me to such good music growing up. She died back in February.
