The Cool Music Thread

As did this one for me!
It hit kind of a “this is home” nerve ^^. Usually reserved for music I already know, but haven’t listened to in a long time. I’ll be alternating more of her with some new(er) Alice In Chains, and maybe a little deathmetal when my colleagues are not at their desk

Perhaps they would stay away from their desks for longer if you WOULD play it. More deathmetal. Profit.

Hahahahaha!
I am trying to be a bit more considerate to my collaegues (not playing deathmetal or blackmetal is as far as I go though), but then again you are absolutely right!

Getting into Joachim Witt lately…

This is that old “if only I knew then what I knew now” thing. The best way to change my entire life for the better (or at least avoid the whopping mistakes I’ve made) would be to download what I know now to my 17 year old self.

So… what I like about this is, it makes me think… what if I could evoke me in 20 years, and download that 20 years now? Worth a try, right?

The smoke darkens the stars
He sneaks and transforms the night
He’s killed so many people
Every desire is too late
To turn back the time again
It only remains tragic to look death in the eye
If I had only looked at this, my life once with my understanding

I wouldn’t feel so lost now
Deus, dei, daemon
You erase my life
Deus, dei, daemon
I want to go on

The mind manages horror
And becomes a burning hallway
Despair is in the eyes of all people
My life still rushes by
With all sorrow and joy
I can still see the children dancing, but the time has come
If I had only looked at this, my life once with my understanding
I wouldn’t feel so lost now

Deus, dei, daemon
You erase my life
Deus, dei, daemon
I want to go on
Hold me tight (hold me tight)
Please closer (hold me tight)
Please even closer (hold me tight)
I want to go on

If I had only looked at this, my life once with my understanding
I wouldn’t feel so lost now

Deus, dei, demon
You erase my life
Deus, dei, demon
I want to go on

The music is not my style at all, but I’m loving the intense occult energy coming off it. Slurping it up like a starved vampire ^^

I don’t like the original much, but love this cover.
I am fully convinced Aurora is only part human and probably part Fae.

I had a case of the misanthopic mondays and this whole album was the perfect soundtrack for my public transportation commute.

Ritual music by Metatron Omega

I loved the one comment (bold added for emphasis):

The sound is so mysterious yet so very interesting
to listen to and the scene is like something out of
a movie with a stranger of magical powers and a
mission to accomplish, this very nice and spooky
