Lol, I’ve had fun trolling xtains that they’re cannibals. Because alchemy and such, they have a special name for the conversion bit.
They hate that. It’s true, and conflicts with societal taboos, so it’s fun watching them try to rationalise their way out of it to resolve the conflict. 
Maybe it’s one of the Canaanite corruptions inflicted on them on purpose, but who knows. This is why you ideally think about why you do things before just doing as you’re told, saves a lot of heartache.
I think the eating of Jesus and drinking of Jesus is technically symbolic, like you’re accepting him into your soul, but I’m not sure
