0,0027ct for 1l clean tap water here.
I need 2-3l watee everyday. Let’s be extra healthy and say 3.
So it’s 0,0081ct per day.
I earn about 12,50€ per hour after tax. So I need to work approximately 4 minutes for my 3l of clean water, which is probably way less time and effort (and way less dangerous) than what the animal needs to do to find enough clean water.
I can even spend these 4 minutes at work on the toilet. 
Dumb animal indeed.
