The Compassion of The Spirits

Tonight I was working with a spirit (I’ll share more of my experiences when I have more experience with this spirit) and he was giving me advice on how to advance. He said that I had to confront my shadow self (self destructive traits) and he mentioned an experience that happened when I was a child. He told me that I hadn’t accepted it and still lived in denial. He didn’t say any of this without compassion. This particular spirit is known as a God of darkest darkness yet he shows more compassion than most humans. Has anyone else experienced something like this from a spirit? Thanks.

King Paimon has acted like he generally cares about my well being.

I’ve told him that I know that is only because I am useful to his agenda, he has never given me a response to that.

Humans “know” as true many things that are actually completely false.

Ive found little truth in any pigeon holed version of any being that is nicely and neatly placed into their little man-made box.

But for those that insist they play those roles, they usually will, but theres more to them than that.

Yes, often - Ahriman & Azi Dahaka healed me of spiritual wounds from (I think) before birth, they LITERALLY “restored my soul” - and also healed a physical problem with my back that was pretty serious, and this is despite the fact healing’s usually considered something only “good” and “light” spirits will help with, Belial has assisted me a lot, as has Buné (though to be fair, she’s a goddess, not a “demon”), and Bael (also IMO a god, though), and many of the classical gods with darker reputations from various pantheons have shown me great compassion and caring as well.

Humans are full of shit most of the time when they insist “X is evil and will always harm you, Y is good and will always help.”

Entirely different case, by case. Demons won’t have the same kind of compassion as say deceased humans who won’t have the same kind as living ones, etc.

For the most part, spirits tend to be ruthless. Compassion, devoid of pity. You won’t get very far begging them, without putting serious intent, and love into it and without showing them that “hey, I’m not just a beggar, I’m so much more”.

As for Ahriman, never spoken to him, but suffice to say, that Ahriman is wiser than Ahura Mazda precisely because he is not advocating a complete and total suppression of your selfhood, in favor of some divine fire.
