Well…let’s say it’s a lockdown “à la française” as we say here :rofl:

Every places are closed except essential ones.
We have to carry a sworn statement every time we got out. As of tomorrow we will have to indicate the precise hour at which we go out cause it must not take longer than an hour.
Of course there are fines if you don’t respect that, starting at 135euros (about 145$) and higher. Mind you, they have almost reached 100 000 fines and it’s just the beginning :rofl:

People are stubborn yeah but the governement does not help. Yesterday, our prime minister spoke and said the lockdown would be tougher.
As a result, we are now allowed 1hour to enjoy a walk or do some sport or walk the dog (within a 1km scope around your house).
If you can’t do home office then it’s off to work no matter if you can’t do self-distancing.
all food markets are shut off but if mayors disagree then they can keep them open :woman_shrugging:

So, I would not call this a “tough” lockdown per say, which is a shame cause it will only last longer if we keep it this way.

Also, they are seriously considering tracking down phones (as they did in Korea) cause too many people still dont give a damn.
