I will eventually. I have just been in a bit of a funk lately and havenât been in a mood to debate or explain some viewpoints in any detail so i just avoid it. Slowly getting back to where I can get more in depth with these things though.

Tmw Iâm giving my 13yo girl a brief lecture about personal responsibility and it sounds as though someone else is chastising both of us through me. My voice slipped into a tone that I can not reproduce on command and her vision seemed to cloud over. Donna yet if it affected her the way it did me or if sheâs being a typical preteen and ignored it all, but I sure as hell was spooked.

Joking aside, when people take a new name, or, rather, take a name other than their meat-birth name, it is to signify dissociation of the former perceptions of self. Sort-of a ceremonial thing-a-ma-doodle to show focus on embodying the traits most valued to the core person, free of temporal ego. Same basic principle as things like baptism/assorted initiations where you undergo a symbolic death.
