Test Group for Empowerment Series with the Loa/Lwa

I have to take some pictures and transcribe my first bit of notes from my journal, so check back in a few hours for the first round of material, hopefully I’ll explain myself appropriately.

Please bookmark this so you don’t lose it!

@CyberLord

Please note you can find the most updated version of all completed rituals here. You will need to bookmark this link to find it later. I have left the original content and discussions where they occurred so that the evolution of the process can be viewed.

@Morgan here you go. This isn’t a contest though, it’s about empowering and bettering our lives through spirits that have seemed inaccessible to the public at times.

That’s daunting for some beginners and evening experienced magicians. I have friends with years of experience with demons and angels who still feel as if approaching the Loa, even after called is a scary thing.

So I’m aiming to give people like myself who can’t be sure of their ancestry, a frame work to work with.

I started with hoodoo and I think it was two or three months before I realized it was also considered by large related to race whether or not you could respectfully practice it.

I did research then, got mixed information and finally decided if it was working for me, I wasn’t sure humans were right.

Then a few months later Samedi and Kalfu approached me in my dreams with a job application. Samedi appeared as St Sebastian and later told me that was due to my fear of demons and the like.

I never even put it together that I was working with saints, so appearing as that aspect made sense…

Eventually I worked with them, for a long time looking at them as like elders and guides. They would do specific things if I called them in ritual but unless I knew what needed done, I got taught how to do the work myself.

I got frustrated because I wanted results too, I wanted to call spirits I knew would deliver not let me wallow while I figured it out on my own, I wanted them to alert me when something was wrong…

Now I have servitors for that. Because I decided if I had to do the hard way, I didn’t see any point in asking for my lessons. I always knew they’d be there in the background, some of them have popped in to help, or deliver messages in my dreams.

I found it baffling how I started with Samedi and Kalfu, and then they introduced me to more, some like Loco have visited my dreams, giving me images of how they are helping me when I had never called on them and things like that.

I’ve found that while there is nothing inherently wrong with the existing systems, the Loa are not adverse to working with individuals who want to do the work and be empowered to do the work and the current systems don’t really allow for that.

Please bookmark and watch this thread to receive updates.

First we have the veve, or if someone would like to designate a better word for it, I’m down with that.

I’ll eventually digitize this, but for now you can use my photograph of it or draw it yourself.

(Please click this image to remove the spoiler.)

I’ve intentionally given you my personal draft of this, I want you to know it doesn’t need to be perfect!

You can probably recognize the large part of this comes known veves, Legba is represented with the lines which divide the circle into four, Samedi is represented by the top left corner, Ayizan* by the top right, Agwe La Flambeau by the bottom left, Maman Brigitte by the bottom right and Met Kalfu takes up the center of the circle.

Legba is associated with being the gatekeeper of the crossroads, this is why all of the other representations are within his representation. He is also associated with the sun.

He will ensure we have safe communication with the Loa.

Baron Samedi is a psycho pomp and healer amongst other things and will ensure we are protected from mal intending shades of the dead and other dangerous crossroad spirits.

Maman Brigitte is also a healer and will ensure our energy is protected and unharmed by the entities we are contacting.

Agwe La Flambeau is associated with flames, volcanos and ensuring metaphysical safe passage. He will be ensuring we are safe while using this emblem to metaphysically contact or evoke the Loa.

Met Kalfu. Associated with breaking and making curses, crossroads to the underworld, psychopomp, associated with the moon. Will ensure we do not befall trickery or deceit while working with the Loa.

Next we have a banishing ritual, then a protection ritual with more to come.

Bear with me, trying to catch my typos and such.

Banishing ritual (can be used outside of this series.)

We will start every ritual with above image, whether or not we choose to banish and even if we choose to stack the rituals and perform several per day.

I recommend starting with the banishing ritual and the upcoming protection ritual, get a feel for what we have going on and then plowing ahead, but if you already work with the loa, you’ve evocation for decades or some similar, please don’t consider it a requirement that you banish and protect yourself or start with any particular empowerment ritual.

In my humble opinion the Loa’s energy is much more… present or obvious and doesn’t take ad much to get an effect as other energy types might. As such you may find it best to start with one ritual, run for 7 days then move on to the next and come back later if you wish to level up in that area.

I suspect 7 days is the average we will end up with, but if it takes 9 or 13 days or longer before you encounter a moment where you say ah, I can tell this is working, please move on to another ritual or take a break for a few days.

Sometimes when we are taking on new energies there seems to be like, a small delay before we notice it, just something to keep in mind.

There are seven steps to the banishing ritual, I think you’ll find it easy to remember and not much different than other banishings when you get down to the meat snd potatoes of it.

  1. Sit or stand comfortably and gaze at the above veve. Scan your eyes over the image.

  2. Imagine that you can feel the sunshine on you. Don’t worry about being inside, remember sometime when the sun was blazing hot and it was bearing down on you, warming your skin, making you slick and stinky with sweat. Say the name Legba

  3. Imagine the heat increasing in intensity until ghost like flames that briefly roll across your skin the burst out from you and through your surroundings. Say the name Damballah La Flambeau

  4. Imagine you smell dirt, that you hear the ground rumble, and the floor or ground ripples in a wave like motion beneath you as earth flows across the area, dampening out the residue flames. Say the name Agaou

  5. Imagine hot steam wafting up from the surroundings and turning into wind blowing away the debris, the dirt and earth. Say the name Badessy.

  6. Imagine condensation from the steam turning into a raging wave of cool water that washes over you and your surroundings, quenching your thirst, soothing your skin, washing you and your surroundings clean. Say the name Agwe

  7. Imagine a bright flash of lighting, that lingers in the air, it’s electric. Imagine your skin pleasantly tingly as it shapes into a circle around, then forms into a sphere of protection as it expands to surround the room or space. Say the name Sogbo

I apologize for the delays, I had to take a phone call!

I need to run to the store before the close, so I’ll be posting the protection ritual next, it after another short delay!

As far as the *new loa in this ritual, Badessy is associated with wind, Sogbo with lightening and flags and Agaoa is said to create thunder, earth storms to have power over the earth. Damballah Le Flambeau is said to burn through all curses and spells, heal any illness and to have generative energy.

Alright so we are starting with protection, because we should always know how to keep ourselves safe. The fact I’ve provided a safe gateway isn’t enough long term, that’s enough to get you safely started and keep you safe while displayed, but what do you when your not home, when your at work, when your on an airplane…

What do you when a master magician decides to engage against your will, in a battle of wills, or to attack every conceivable situation in your life?

It can take up every hour of every day if you’re trying to build a flawless metaphysical security system, alarms, kick back to sender and the who’s shabang. Not to mention the mental and emotional toll.

So what if there is a different way? What if we could be empowered to protect ourselves and our situations seemingly effortlessly, without endlessly adding to the list of things to protect or rituals to use?

That’s what this ritual is designed to do. Each of the following Loa have specific things they specialize in protecting.

We are going to ask them to bestow upon us the same powers they have, to use for own. But we don’t want to have to call out their name, or think of their image or actually do anything to have these powers, we want them to be qualities built into our energy system that work seem less in the back ground.

Kind of like a song on repeat, a mantra you’ve obtained siddhi in, or a long lasting sustainable energetic adjustment.

Have you ever been around someone whose energy just… made you think wow? That’s what we are aiming for, sustainable energy states that do the work effortless for us because we are energetically aligned with them.

If that doesn’t make sense, basically we are looking to take on the entities super powers without invoking or merging with them for long term purposes, rather than invoking them as needed or wanted or as a sole quality.

We are going to be looking at the big picture in many cases, the energy shifts may feel drastic if you are not used to working with the Loa or energy, but don’t let something that feels different make you feel afraid- sometimes I still get spooked by strong sudden energy and the Loa often appear or approach from behind me.

It’s not to make you afraid, it’s because we as humans often struggle with what’s in front of us and our peripheral senses will kick in before the frontal ones register anything is occurring if it even does.

If you begin to feel sick, get headaches, or generally feel overwhelmed- finish the ritual and take a break for a few days. This is sign of energy sickness or basically eating too much candy in one sitting. It will subside and you will adjust gradually to the new energies if you take it easy and don’t over do it.

This is not an indication that you cannot work with the loa, that they don’t like you or anything else ridiculous, it’s quite frankly something new to your body and your energy field.

I recommend starting with 7 days per ritual unless you feel led otherwise. My understanding is you increase or level up the power by resorting the ritual for the full duration.

Many people may want to take breaks, days off or otherwise be somewhat flexible such ans dk tel different rituals on the same days and this is okay, listen to your energy system, let the loa guide you on what is right for you but expect that the energetic changes will shift into your life on roughly day 7 and that some people may want to move on to a different ritual or group of rituals and allow the adjustment to essentially peak before they repeat the same ritual for another duration.

This is untested material and power is subjective so I cannot currently recommend the maximum number of ritual repetitions for the best benefit in your life. Factor in we are all a little different and weak and strong in varying areas and I believe they must the duration of time you should ultimately spend down this rabbit hole will be subjective.

This is an updated version which is hopefully easier to follow and understand. I’ve left the original under the summary tab below.

Now then for Ritual 1 I am basically going to tell you what to ask each entity for, but I want you to reword it so that you repeat it after you read it saying it like you would if you were saying it on your own, or explaining what you mean to someone else. (there is no right answer, what does it mean to you when you read it)

I want to note in both versions that it has been reported that using the following words increases the perceived experience though these words could be implied with intent for the same affect:

“Align me with the highest energies of this current” at the end of each request

Ritual 1: Protection

  1. Start by gazing at the image, scan it with your eyes.

  2. Ask Legba to empower you with protection over your life path, from obstacles that may arise and from anything that stands in the way of your desires.

  3. Ask Jean Petro give you the power to overcome and prevent oppression and anything that is holding you back are preventing you from obtaining your dreams.

  4. Ask Congo to empower your willpower and your ability to protect it.

  5. Ask Agwe La Flambeau to empower you to automatically repel negative energies, metaphysical beings and psychic attacks.

  6. Ask Ayido-wedo to imbue you with the ability to protect and maintain the relationships and friendships that are important to your life.

  7. Ask Papa Loco to protect your rituals, ceremonies and sanctuaries. For some of us our sanctuary is our living room, or our basement. That’s okay.

  8. Next ask Bossu to empower with protection while we sleep from both physical and metaphysical dangers.

  9. Ask Belie Becan to empower you with the ability to create protective items, and to protect your physical items from harm and loss.

  10. Ask Ayizan to grant us the power to protect our businesses (jobs/finances), our travels through public places and our boundaries.

  11. Ask Kalfu to give you the power to diffuse and repel all unwanted magic and curses.

  12. Ask Taureau Truis Graines, to empower you with the ability to automatically protect your mind, your thinking, and your reason and logic facilities so that you are able to cool, calm and collected in all circumstances.*

  13. Finally ask Erzili Zander to imbue you with protection from injustices and from vulnerability while you go through any and all transformative processes.

Whew that’s it, just close the image and go back to life. I like take a two seconds and express my gratitude with a since thank you, before moving on. I think it’s good practice to appreciate things, so at the end of each ritual I simple say thank you while gazing at the emblem and intending it towards all the entities I just worked with.

Summary

Now then for Ritual 1, I’m going to give examples of what I mean think about the words and what the mean and then I want to reword it so that you repeat it, but you say it like you would if you were saying it. (there is no right answer, what does it mean to you when you read it) Protection

  1. Start by gazing at the image, scan it with your eyes.

  2. We are going to start by asking Legba to empower us with energy that protects our life path from obstacles and to remove all that stands in the way of obtaining our desires.

Example: I sit here and think about these words and then in my head (you can work out loud too) I say:

Legba, I ask that you cause my energy to automatically protect my life and remove all that stands in my way.

  1. We are going to ask Jean Petro give us the power to overcome, prevent oppression.

My inner voice: This one means that I am asking Jean Petro to imbue me with an energy vibration that automatically discourages and repels oppressive forces in my life and enables me to overcome the things that have held me back

  1. We are asking Congo to give us the ability to negate influences which deplete and diminish our willpower and our productivity.

This one means that I am asking Congo to imbue in my energy a vibration that increases my ability to execute my will in my life and protects me from energetic influences that will make me lazy or throw me off track

  1. Now we are going to ask Agwe La Flambeau to empower us to automatically repel negative energies, metaphysical beings and psychic attacks.

Agwe La Flambeau I ask that you empower me so that my energy reflects and repels negative energies, intentions, attacks and entities

  1. Now we ask Ayido-wedo to imbue us with the ability to protect and maintain the relationships and friendships that are important to our life from outside influences.

*Ayido-wedo, I ask that you empower me with energy that fosters my ability to take care of the relationships that are important to me and prevents outside influence from interfering.

  1. Now we are going to ask Papa Loco to protect our rituals, ceremonies and sanctuaries. For some of us our sanctuary is our living room, or our basement. That’s okay.

Papa Loco I ask that you empower me so that my energy causes my home and my spiritual rituals and practices to be protected in all ways.

  1. Next we are going to ask Bossu to empower with protection while we sleep.

Bossu, I ask that you grant me the power and the energy to automatically repel all things that go bump in the night, while I am dreaming and while I’m away from my physical body.

  1. Now we ask Belie Becan to empower us with the ability to create protective items, and to protect our physical items from harm and loss.

Belie Becan I ask that you empower me with the ability to not only create and use protective items and talismanic items, but also to protect those items that belong or hold importance to me and my life.

  1. We are going to ask Ayizan to grant us the power to protect our businesses, our travels through public places and our boundaries.

Ayizan, I ask that you empower me with ability to protect my business, my safety when away from the home and all boundaries that I set, whether they are literal boundaries, metaphysical or symbolic.

  1. Now we are going to ask Kalfu to give us the power to diffuse and repel all unwanted magic and curses.

Met Kalfu I ask that you empower me with an energy quality that repels attacks, unwanted magic, curses and spells against me and my life.

  1. Now we want to be empowered to protect our sanity and prevent ourselves from falling victim to fears with Taureau Truis Graines.

Taureau Truis Graines, I ask that you imbue my energy to protect me so that I am able to stay sound in mind, reasonable, logical, cool, calm and collected in all circumstances.

  1. Now we finished with asking Erzili Zander to imbue us with protection from injustices and from vulnerability while we go through the transformative process.

This means that Erzili Zander I ask that you empower me with protection from the things I don’t deserve and from becoming over sensitive, overwhelmed or otherwise distraught as I go through periods of growth and energetic expansion.

If the way you would say it or what the power means to you differs, that’s okay, the exact examples are highly likely to change.

Please forgive my typos and what look like grammar and spelling issues, my auto correct combined with the sheer amount of text to edit make it hard to catch them! I’m trying and will reread and fix these posts for days to come.

Now then,

Legba we already know is the guy when it comes to crossroads and gatesways, he’s also said to be able to remove obstacles amongst other things. He always appears to me as middle aged African man, wearing a powder blue suit.

Jean Petro is said to help with oppression, obtaining freedom and may be appear as a physically deformed man.

Congo is often used to remove an enemies will power, their desire or drive to obtain their goals and to make them less productive.

Agwe La Flambeau or flaming Agwe is related to volcanoes, clarity and safe metaphysical passage. To me he feels slightly spicer than Agwe.

Ayida-wedo, sometimes appearing as a brightly colored serpent is usually used for successful relationships, long term commitment and sexuality.

Papa Loco first appeared to me as the red and white in a dream. He was helping me with a situation in which someone very close to me in the real world was harming me and I had just learned about it. I found I didn’t have to do anything he took care of it because they wronged me.

Bossu has been seen be sensitive individuals around me upon occasion. He usually presents a bit monstrous with horns on his head. His horns are supposed to symbolize strength, wildness and violence. He is called upon for fertility, removing obstacles, increasing potency and curing erectile dysfunction as well as for sleep time guardianship.

Belie Becan specializes in the crafting of protective charms and talismanic objects.

Erzili Zander, sometimes called the queen of transformation or the queen of justice.

Met Kalfu is associated with the crossroads to the underworld, repelling curses, unhexing, baneful and black magic, helping people find their way and removing harming spirits.

Ayizan is said to protect markets, public places, barriers and to be able to exorcise spirits from a location as well as lessen crime in a stated location.

Taureau Truis Graines, or the bull with three testicles. This is the dude you use when you want to instill deep fear and insanity into a target. Naturally we don’t want anyone to do this to us, so we’d like to be protected from it preemptively.

That’s it for tonight in need a break then I’m going to try to catch a few more typos

I apologize if this seems very rudimentary, this work has all been channeled and intuited and so the translations from feelings to words and such still seems off.

This is not stuff I’ve repeated a thousand times or even a dozen times privately, it’s my first share so please know these rituals will likely evolve as I continue to grow and develop and continue to utilize them.

Ritual 2 is for empowering our abilities to heal, ourselves and others.

  1. Gaze at the image, scan it with it your eyes.
  2. Ask Simbi to give you the ability to diagnose all types of illnesses and sicknesses, regards of their source.
  3. Ask Marassa to give you the ability to heal yourself and other emotionally.
  4. Ask La Barona to give you the ability to know the herbs and plants that aid your healing abilities in any scenario.
  5. Ask Gran Bois to activate in you the ability to divinely heal yourself and others.
  6. Ask Damballah La Flambeau to give you the ability to energetically heal any illness.
  7. Ask Sobo to gibe you the ability to heal yourself and others from illness and trauma caused by magic attacks and curses.

Okay, I think this is easier to read than with the examples?

Should I rewrite the protection ritual to look like this one?

Simbi is said to give the gifts of clairvoyance, the ability to diagnose to healers, protects magicians and is supposedly in charge of the flow of souls during possessions and has associations with rivers and streams.

Marassa is a complicated one, as it describes a type of spirit and not necessarily specific Loa. It’s like saying lavender to let us know the specific type of plant, but not the specific plant.

A Marassa is basically a set of twin flame spirits if you wanted to use new agey terms, or two spirits whose souls are very much exactly the same yet completely opposite, like a mirror reflection.

These spirits are well know for bestowing emotional support, soothing comfort and easing the burden of emotions during traumatic events.

La Barona is known for bestowing knowledge of plants and poisonous herbs amongst those whom have interest in working with them, their energetic properties and their archetypes. She’s helped me learn how to use my intuition and how to listen for the voice of the herbs that can help.

Gran Bois is said to be the father of the forest, divine healer, to preside over bontical secrets and to know the secrets of life and death.

Appears to me as an African man in a brown suit, with a red tie and straw hat. He has a cane and his shoes look something very old school in style being both black and white.

Damballah La Flambeau is said to be able to use his generative energy to remove any curse or spell and that he can heal any type of illness. I see him as a flashy African man in a white suit with a dazzling smile.

Sobo is said to bestow strength, courage, protect congregations of people and to protect against wild spirit. It is believed that he can heal any disease or illness caused by magic or curses.

Alright I think I should edit the above the protection ritual and then post the next one for Clair and psychic senses.

I’m also surprisingly tired, so I might sleep first if no one weighs in on the edit the protection ritual or not question

I don’t know what the best layout to present the information in, is. That’s like my biggest hangup, not being sure the best way to present this. :smirk:

You’ll need to click to view the image above, I added a spoiler so everyone could choose as they see the material, and you’ll want to bookmark the thread to come back to if and or watch the thread if you’d like to get updates as I work.

I also suspect most people will quickly outgrow their use for framework and will use it as merely an introduction to the Loa they’d like to work in depth with- that’s okay too and hopefully this will open the pathway to those who wish to work with the Loa but who are afraid or unsure of how to get started.

Review Banishing:

I was feeling suspicious about the order of the elements used, but I still went with it.

The banishing in and off itself is powerful.

But the fact that the elemental order is out of alignment with the natural structure creates disturbances in the four lower Chakras. Please reorder it in accordance to them:

  1. Earth
  2. Water
  3. Fire
  4. Air
    5 Light (in this case)

That way, you build up the energy in accordance with the natural energy system of the human body.

Review Protection: Powerful af, instant changes in my reality.

I said the words “Align me with the highest energies of this current” at the end of each request and that made a major difference for me. I can handle alot of energy and I had physical spasms, like my whole torso shaking. I can handle torso spasm quite well, they are commong for when I work with powerful energies. But this time… this was something else.

Please consider editing the script so that people are instructed to say this as well, it’s really friggin powerful.

Overall I feel alot better than usual. I am doing different means of self improvement and this is a like a growing cherry sappling on top.

I love it :green_heart:

Review Veve:

This is something that I could rant about forever and most people who use sigils and similar entity related symbols don’t know this. I didn’t figure this out myself but I can verify it from multiple experiences:

Beginners need to make these things as symetrical as possible. Intermediate Sorcerers, Witches, Magicians and whatever people call themselves do not need to do this because they naturally balance energy when working with anything. Most advanced magical folks do this subconsciously, they just feel the current and go with it.

But beginners do not. And this invites negativity if they use a symetrically inaccurate sigil or something similar. I took the Veve, made an energetic replica of it and balanced it’s symetry. The air went smoother immediately.

Long story short, please make things symetrical for beginners. You don’t need to, but newbies don’t know they need to. I know that this is not talked about in magical circles at all and I don’t wanna come here first day nitpicking at you. What you’ve put together is beautful and I feel grateful for it.

But if things seems far off from me or if I found a major improvement, I can’t and won’t keep my mouth shut :black_heart:

I assume you’ll understand, you have those wise vibes after all

Also, Agwe… Agwe Agee why Agwe…

My Soul knows him, deeply. I cried when I was connecting with him and he instantly came to me. I am very sure that this is not just because he is related to water, and thereby also emotions.

I Love Agwe So Much :blue_heart:

Those ancient ones are powerful beyond my current comprehension and I feel deeply exhilerated to figure out their secrets and with them, my own.

Especially with Agwe… Gods why do I feel you so much… :blue_heart:

I’m working with something that looked like a massive file download for all of it. If I don’t have exactly right, it’s definitely on me and not them.

As far as the banishing goes, I don’t really know the natural order of the elements that you speak of or the proper order. I did rearrange it twice actually, because the impression was it was to flow from one element right into the next but it didn’t make sense to me how some of it would/does

Like I said I’ve been hemming and hawing and avoiding sharing because I know it needs smoothed out and I don’t exactly know which words and where all the issues are going to be- as you said I would never consider my sigil or veve being off in the slightest a problem, even as a beginner I didn’t have problems with that.

I do however some sort of natural something all over everything I touch, so never know how much of it is that easy because I am doing it and how much is that easy simply because it’s that easy. (The things everyone else thinks are easy, like deciding what to eat for lunch, are impossible for me)

So to get back on point you are good. I know it’s powerful but I don’t know the best format, wording or layouts, That is ultimately why we are here, to figure out my issues so that hopefully I can get this into a useable format and people can go and use it then.

I’m not an author or master magician myself, I am just open to hearing what they have to say, but sometimes impressions and energetic communication gets translated off or wrong and I don’t know how to clear up the nuances without getting eyes on them

I am just waking up so give me time to brew coffee and be able to hold my eyes without toothpicks.

Actually, I guess I need you to explain where you feel electricity fits into this or the exact order that would better and idk… but if it makes more sense that way, I’m good with that.

I was looking at like if you used fire to burn through all the debris and unwanted or like if there was a raging wildfire, it would be started by something else- the lighting or sun, we would put out with dirt in most cases because it takes more water and we use airplanes flying over head for stuff like that, then after all the storm elements it rains or water is used for the remaining flame and everything eventually renews itself.

But obviously it doesn’t flow quite right that way, as that’s the way I tried to lay out because of my understanding of it, and not necessarily anything else.

It really did seem like a giant file full of here you go, I could see myself scribbling notes and trying to get it all into concrete enough form I didn’t loose the premise or purpose…

 so idk. It’s definitely the most in-depth material I’ve received that was not meant to be for me and me alone.

Like I still want to talk about the Loa and how many of them I believe have been perceived not necessarily wrong, but in light that doesn’t consider anything but how they appeared or acted and gives none of the reasoning.

For example, I have quite literally smashed everything in a room before in anger. You’d never guess how much glass I smashed… yet somehow at the back of me, was me, riding and controlling myself and saying no, not that item it’s important, toss it to the side.

So while my actions were not good and not under control for me, I still had reasons and choices and the fact I didn’t choose to take control is something, all on its own right?

But unless I tell you in gross detail why I was angry and why that was the way I reacted, it seems like unwarranted violence. My reasoning might have been mine and mine alone, but it explains the mindset and then the rest falls into place and can be understood.

I think the Loa have been perceived this way in some cases. I do think they are closer to us in our plane than some types of spirits and they are some of the easiest for me to perceive and feel.

But also they aren’t really all that different from us. I don’t intend to debate or even get into the origins of most of these gods but we can know from the religious history that most of the Loa have been incarnated on earth, whether they were gods that incarnated or people that ascended, we do know with relative certainty that many of these beings experienced the same sort of life we are currently experiencing.

So some Loa you could title ascended masters and that would be anccurate enough to understand what they’ve gone through to obtain power. (I’m not sure we fully understand it but it gives an idea)

This to me means, that we can obtain these powers too. They weren’t all originally gods, yet I’ve not come across a Loa that doesn’t beat the power level of other spirits I work with so, it must be doable because they’ve done it.

Worship and recognition and offerings have all for the most part come after their death, so I think we are really more interested in how they become empowered, because while worship and offerings may sustain them, it didn’t create them (they are not servitors they are real gods in their own right) or their powers.

Hey there @Alphabetsoup this is where we are working, you’ll need to bookmark the link to find it on your own and or watch the thread to receive notifications.

You’ll need to click the shared image to view it without the blur and please note I intend to reorder the banishing and amend the wording on the protection ritual this afternoon before continuing and posting more of the rituals.

This is a work in progress as I’m sharing from my scribbled notes and not a refined format.
