As far as I know, Moloch is a Greek misrepresentation of Baal Melqart during the Greek-phoenician wars

Another thing I found extremely interesting is, in the TES lore, the gods gain power via the amount of worshippers they have. Reminds me of a form of an egregore
Actually, I’ve always kinda been more interested in the concept of ChIM in TES.
The end result of Hermeticism is supposedly something similar.
