I posted that video because it is indeed what i hear most of the time, altought if i were to use any kind of audio for magic, it would either be something from azam ali or binaural beats or iso tones
about ambient, the last couple of albums of Burzum are pretty good, I used to listent when I was a teen, I’m not really into it right now but it will definitely pull some dark ambient when you play it.
this is one I find not particularly dark but I thing it can make the job

it depends on each person inner “chemistry” and likes. For me drone, ambient music, binaural beats, depending on the mood…or music like this (they are quite short song, so i put them in loop)
