Sleep paralysis, vocalizations and a cat

Hello all,

First post after intro! I’ve been wanting to post something and figured I’d start with something that just happened to me.

I’ve dealt with sleep paralysis all my life, sometimes I believe it’s significant/meaningful other times not, sometimes I see or hear stuff or have had entities reach out to me other times not. This was definitely one of those times. Went to bed early and started getting into a prolonged half asleep dreaming spell. In these situations I’m somewhat aware that I’m dreaming and I can even sense and see my physical environment around me but I’m unable to wake up, even if I want to.

I knew I was in my bed but around me was a line of people which made me confused. I could see the people standing in line and it seemed like a woman(who I perceived as a co worker) was setting up rope to help control the crowd(like a security guard would do around a venue) who all wanted to go into a tent for some reason. I started to feel like I must be somewhere else and I was wondering why this was happening and tried to reach out to her to ask her what’s going on, when I felt a tap on my back which woke me up and of course nobody was there. I went back to sleep. Immediately went into another dream where someone/something told me to “look and make contact”, for some reason that I was told but I don’t remember unfortunately. I then purposely did something that I’ve been able to do for years, I don’t know how to describe it or what I do but it’s like a mental thing that I feel in my eyes and sometimes it’s helped me astral project(very poorly and I’ve never been able to fully control it) or perceive things while I’m in this state. And then it happened

I immediately felt like I was smacked in the chest and started making the most bizarre nonsense vocalizations. I’m having chills remembering it rn. I couldn’t control it and then off to the side of my bed I saw a black cat, I thought it was one of my cats who must’ve wandered into my room until I noticed its white eyes(it did have pupils though) and figured out it was not my cat. So I managed to strike out physically and break out of it. Mind you I have no negative correlations with black cats or cats or any animal at all really(I live with many many pets also).

After apologizing to a roommate for probably waking him up I called my mom, who also has a good feel for these things and I believe has similar untrained latent skills as I do, to come by so I can show her something, she’s disabled and lives with me so it was quick. I asked her without telling her what went on, “what do you feel or see?” She said she felt uneasy and when she walked saw a black cat laying down by my bed and thought it was one of my cats but then immediately realized that the cat wasn’t there anymore. I was like alright there we go, told her the story and concluded there must be something to it. I’m not sure what time the whole episode started at but I was woken up at exactly 2:59 am which is when it ended.

This comes after a series of similar dreams although I’ve never ever involuntarily acted out or vocalized anything like this before. But these series of dreams led me to join this forum to ask for help too lol. Mind you I’ve done studies and such for this phenomenon, nothings wrong with my brain physically that I know of and I don’t have any type of hallucinatory disorders that I’ve been diagnosed with etc I did meet a strange individual recently who randomly recognized the sigil of Asmodeus on my shirt and tried to get me to put something on my head which I refused. Wonder if that had any effect on me

Excited to hear of any thoughts anyone may have!

Sounds interesting. Disclaimer: I’m not an expert at any of these topics but a couple of things come to mind, based on these experiences:

  1. I live with someone who has a lot of sleep paralysis episodes. There’s a lot more to that but will leave it saying it we aren’t sure what types of entities are involved. Maybe various forms including jinn. This person has also been paralyzed by a random cat outside while walking inside of a building stairwell. We think it was jinn because they broke the paralysis by silently reciting Al Fatiha, (wasn’t able to speak), it caused the cat freaked out and bolt down the stairs and out the building.

  2. I have had cat dreams that are almost 100% certain to be from external entities. But helpful, not harmful, yet prophetic. Assumed at the time it was God and possible good jinn involved, but not sure.

Based on these things and other things that are too much detail for now, my thought is that sleep paralysis and cats are often tied to jinn.

I’m not saying all your entities are jinn, by the way, but this one seems related to them or something similar.

Anyway, based on the order of events it sounds like they may have gotten into your body this time through your astral projection exercise. Not sure how if cat was the culprit or accompanying the main actor.

Please update us if you get any more insights.

Think I figured it out, I had forgotten/didnt make the connection that a week prior, a friend of mine helped one of their friends(who’s a practitioner) do a cord cutting ritual on me to divorce me from 2 different bad actors in my life. Said friend of friend did something on my friend then told him to pass something onto me to complete the ritual from afar. I think the rope and all the people behind it may have symbolized all the people with ties still attached to them and the fact that I was out it it symbolized me being set free from the line so to speak.

And the cat may be said friend of friends familiar, one of my personal helpful spirits, or even just a safe symbol in my own mind since I love animals, to give me something to focus on. And the noises may have just been the manifestation of the bond being cut(one of these people has been in my life for more than a decade and causes severe harm)
