This question has been asked before on the forum so i advice to search for them to see what ppl have said in those threads.
A fairly general opinion is that its something that shouldnt be taken lightly and doing it on impulse is mostly advice against. If you wanna tattoo a sigil then atleast it should be for something that you have done lots of work with mayby even have extensive pact working with and that you intend to work with for the rest of your life, after all its supposed to be on forever(:

I’m getting one of Lucifer in two weeks. But I discussed it with him and he agreed, and actually it was part of our pact. so I agree don’t take it lightly.

I have a tattoo of Dantalion’s sigil. It hasn’t affected anything at all.
