Just a hot tip in the future. If you’re in the US, you will usually be excused from jury duty by simply requesting a postponement/extension and you usually won’t be called back. I’ve done it and it’s worked 100% of the time (and I’ve been called like 6-7 times lol). But I’m glad… the talisman… did that for ya.
