Hey just asking my BALGers about something I’ve heard of a few times …self initiation. Soooooo does anyone have experience with this? Also wouldn’t this be a dangerous thing to do? I ask forgiveness for my ignorance I’m just very curious about this .

That depends on what tradition into which you want to self initiate. I self initiated into Wicca and that wasn’t dangerous at all. Of course Wicca is mild compared to what most folks on BALG are into magically.

Self-initiation is often bit of a misnomer. Initiation by deity or spirit would be a better definition in my experience. Granted I’ve only initiated myself into the primal craft current , so I cant speak for other traditions that require initiation
