Hey I found my selenite pendants and removed them from their macrame nets and placed them inside the blue silk mesh bag they came in. I think the macrame was interfering with their powers. But whereas my long one is a beautiful white, the smaller one looks dirty and yellow. Is that normal? I never noticed it when it was in the net. Is there way to clean it? I used to get bad luck every time I wore the small one.
Also I know the nets were messing with them somehow because I held the long one in my right hand and pushed all my negative energy into it. It helped so much that I fell asleep clutching it in my hand for an hour and woke up rested with some of my pains gone (and I fell asleep in my truck in an awkward position.)
Anyways if anyone knows how to clean the yellowed color off the small crystal please let me know. Or if its natural. I know theres a champagne color selenite. but this just looks like its stained yellow.
So depending on what you were using it for it is entirely possible it has absorbed a large amount of toxic energy. For example this is a piece of clear quartz i had programmed to absorb toxic energy in the area for 8 months. As a result the very spirit of this little monster has polarised on the baneful side. So i have it energetically isolated (wrapped in 3 layers of tin foil) till the full moon(to empower this now baneful spirit not cleanse btw ) so it doesn’t wreak havoc around me.
Yikes. That stones been through a lot. Mine I just wore as a protection to bad luck/misfortune. But at the time I was also bound to a bad spirit without my consent or knowledge. So… maybe it got hit with that?
Oh. I also lived at my parents at the time that I wore it and those two give off some real bad energy. To the point that I’d rather be beaten daily by a stranger than live with them. So that might have done something too. Not sure.
That’ll do it, if you are using it for protection and have plans to continue to do so, regular cleansing is a must. Depending on the level if bleach you can use the sun, and moon to both cleanse and charge it, sage for cleansing and burial in sea salt,black salt or raw earth for a day to a week depending on the level of gunk. A small Tupperware container or potted plant full of your choice of medium is fine just make sure to dispose of it off your property after you are done or it’s like busting open a sewer line in your living room no fun.
Do not wash! Selenite dissolves in water. It does not need to be cleaned, just like the amethyst druse. It is also capable of energizing other crystals. There is nothing you need to do.
True selenite doesn’t normally need cleansing, it can do it itself but something just seems up with this one.
OP do you know if it could have other minerals as well? I know sometimes places don’t sell the best quality or real stones.
I’m not entirely sure if it does or not. I bought it off of Etsy about 5 years ago. The larger one does have a couple of speckles on the outside that look similar to sand, however. So it is possible.
