Does anyone know an English translation of this one?

Just curious,
because it seems for me,
like a lot of the magick i do goes back to this.

the yetzirah symbol is even somewhat close to my personal sigil.

Funnily enough, I just added that to my Wishlist a few weeks ago. I thought you might have some insight on the book itself xD its why I clicked.

Thats the listing on amazon. I believe it to be in English.

yeah i’m not so sure if it’s really a good translation.

Just considering wether i might benefit more from directly communing with the spirits regarding this.

But your fast response shows i can’t be completely wrong there.

2019 Reprint of 1923 Edition. Full facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition software. Sefer, Book of Formation, or Book of Creation is the title of the earliest extant book on Jewish esotericism, although some early commentators treated it as a treatise on mathematical and linguistic theory as opposed to Kabbalah. Yetzirah is more literally translated as “Formation”; the word Briah is used for “Creation”. The book is traditionally ascribed to the patriarch Abraham, although others attribute its writing to Rabbi Akiva. Modern scholars have not reached consensus on the question of its origins. According to Rabbi Saadia Gaon, the objective of the book’s author was to convey in writing from a Jewish perspective how the things of our universe came into existence. Translated from the Hebrew, with annotations by Knut Stenring. Includes the 32 paths of wisdom, their correspondence with the Hebrew alphabet and the Tarot symbols and with an introduction by Arthur Edward Waite

So the interesting thing i notice,
is that the translation is already wrong there.

Birah would actually be Creation
this is actually more apropriate translated with forming / shaping.

So book of shaping would suit better.

And when book of destruction?

Hm?

SX311_BO1%2C204%2C203%2C200

“when”?

Do you mean

the 2009 book on the war in gaza?

The recently written book actually called that way.

Or do you mean the Ancient book,
the book of Nahum, Nineveh?

@Yberion try getting in contact with Baal Kadmon. He doesn’t have a book about it that I’m aware of, but can probably direct you. He’s always been happy to answer my emails about things.
