Hey I wanted to know if any one of you can help me to get in contact with an ancient viking witch or shaman spirit to learn the meanings of the runes trough them.

Obviously you can look at popular rune books including Edred Thorsson. These will give you the outer layer of the runes. Once you have a foundation, then you can open the Runes and learn directly from them. Then you can use Galdor (Runes) or Seidr (Sorcery) to contact a Volva or Vitki in Hel.
An ancient Viking witch is more likely to be a powerful sorceress and shaman, not necessarily a mistress of the Runes. A Shaman Spirit may not necessarily know the Runes, again more chance of being a sorcerer.

If I may ask, how long have you been working with runes? You seem to know a lot. I just started and I am loving it.
I have been working with runes on and off for years. They were not my primary focus, as I am a practitioner of Seidr. I was a teenager when I came across books by Michael Howard, Nigel Pennick (a local author), D Jason Cooper and Brian Bates. I had been working magick in my own fashion beforehand and became fascinated by the runes. I met Freya Aswynn when I was 19 and she whacked me on my back and referred to me as her black magician. She is a remarkable woman, I am glad to refer to as kin. She now lives in Spain and we haven’t seen one another in ages. I did provide her with some essential oil correspondences which are in “Principles of the Runes”.
Meeting Freya Aswynn when I was 19 was like meeting Elvis for me. I tried to work with Odin as suggested by her and 'Leaves of Yggdrasil", but it was not meant to be because I am the Lady’s Man, so worked with the goddess Freyja and that was when my awakening began.
I adore the runes, they are a fabulous and very powerful gift. As far as my runic experience goes, I prefer to say that I am still growing with them. What I am finding is that I am being drawn back to them and so my studies continue.
