I had a dream last night where I was friends with a man with golden hair and clothes who had a very friendly and affectionate personality. He was accompanied by a friend of his, who was a man with brown hair and green clothes. The golden man was protecting me from an unknown threat.
One day, I found a golden… machine (it didn’t have a specific shape, but it had lots of colorful buttons). On it were the words “Merkabah”. I asked the golden man what “Merkabah” was, and he became solemn and a bit depressed. He asked his friend to help him activate it. When they did, it caused a huge earthquake.
So I’ve been trying to collect information on this Merkabah and so far, I’ve learned that it’s a sort of “spiritual vehicle” and “the throne of God”.
Has anyone encountered Merkabah before? If so, what were your experiences and what should I look out for if I find them?
A merkabah in the light worker community is seen as a tool of astral travel and soul projection. It is the vehicle which moves consciousness and awareness. They look like a 3d star of David, with two regular 3sided pyramids intersecting each other. As I was taught everyone can access their’s through meditation. My first experience with it was a guided meditation with a friend who let me experience soul travel for the first time.
That has been my experience with it. It is less of “The Merkabah”, and more “A Merkabah”. This is a topic and tool used a lot by light workers, or at least the ones I was around.
God’s throne would translate to Merkava and not Merkaba. The Merkaba is a spiritual vehicle with which a skilled magician can travel to the higher planes. In the beginning, the merkabah may appear like a multidimensional Star of David, similar to two pyramids on top of each other. One pyramid points upwards and symbolizes the male currents in the magician, while the other pyramid points downwards and symbolizes the female currents in the magician. If the magician connects his male and female currents and creates the balance between the two, the merkabah will become round, which means it is much better suited as a vehicle.
The merkabah is also a key to certain levels that you can only access if you are connected to your merkabah. At the same time, the merkabah is also a kind of tool with which a capable magician can create energies that do not yet exist in the universe. To do this, however, it is necessary to travel to a correspondingly high level and have the corresponding powers there. However, the merkabah can also be used to damage and destroy. In this sense it is a cosmic chariot. How this works exactly I will not reveal at this point because here it is no longer about small things but about particularly violent damage magic that causes damage to the higher self and wounds for the next incarnations.
The merkabah responds strongly to the spoken word and to thoughts. At the same time it serves the magician in the higher levels as a kind of temple in which the magician can celebrate his rituals in order to bring about changes in the higher levels and thus also in the lower levels.
Merkabah is also a term for a form of Jewish Mysticism that lasted the better part of a 1,000 years before the Kabbalah. It essentially involved the practices of the earlier prophetic period, which involved lots of trance work and essentially astral projection, to allow the mystic to go through Enoch’s journey through the seven Heavens, using passcodes and seals to outwit the angels who dwell in each of the heavens to reach the goal of sitting on the throne of god and basically go through soul transmutation into an angel. The mentioning of earthquakes is interesting as Angels at the time were viewed as terrifying beings who caused the earth to tremble with their presence. This form of mysticism had a deep influence on Jewish magic as well as ceremonial magic later on and is the backbone of my current work exploring the Sefer HaRazim. I plan on eventually journeying into the Third Heaven, which is essentially Heaven’s Abyss to learn from the Angels of that plane.
The actual writings of these mystics are expensive, as the translations are published by Brill. Esoterica has some videos covering the subject both independently and as part of this current series exploring the history of Jewish Mysticism and the Kabbalah. While the two systems are separate, Merkabah had a big influence on Kabbalah.
