when you see for ears, was it for an ear infection, ear mites, or like a perforated eardrum? Temperature wise are you just feeling or are you actually taking if you’re actually taking the temperature? What is it? the swelling of the leg does sound like an infection. or maybe swollen Lymph nodes. He is painful? or just stringy with walking?
@anon83768343 could the pet had been coming off from steroids too sudden? I had this shit because I was taken off steroids (IV) from one day to the next and I had a fever that didn’t go away until I was plugged back in again, they had to switch me slowly from intravenous to oral prednisone and I was fine after that. I remember that I had massive stomach aches during the withdrawal period, I don’t know if it is a thing for animals too and if Dinho might refuse to walk/stand because of that (too much strain on the stomach muscles because of possible cramps, that is)
100% The prescriptions for steroids should always be done in like it is sending in descending type So he definitely could have been taken off too soon. And gotten sick or the infection came back. I just find it really weird if it was a steroid like a ear infection like cleaning and like a topical thing…
He was taken off steroid suddenly. And it was 3 days ago. Plus he had taken steroids before and taken off suddenly. This is the second time abruptly stopped. His ear issue was otitis (sorry for the spelling) and one steroid made him lose weight but the ear inflammation didn’t go away. Both ears were swollen inside and pus used to come out, not literally like pus but watery stuff. Now the doc said it’s withdrawal symptom so he has to to put back and slowly lessen the dose and then take it off. But he lost weight plus not standing coz right leg is swollen. The doc said cellulitis or cellutitis (again sorry for the spelling)
Post the report comes in and what the doc says I’ll update you guys here. If at all it’s ok to say it here coz all posts must be made in the thread and not in pvt.
@Angelb1083 - Yes he is a Rottweiler. The ear test reports I have to search tho coz it’s been almost 2 years. One ear is healed and the other one is almost healed all coz this cortico steroid (sorry wrong spelling) . I’ll be more than happy to share the blood report with you tomorrow in pvt if it’s allowed
@A_Pariah - I leave the healing work with you, last time your ritual for my wisdom tooth before I left for Moscow healed it and I haven’t gotten any problem since then. Also my wisdom tooth is still there and I haven’t pulled them out. Your ritual was literally surreal. I’m beyond grateful. So I’ll just leave the healing work for Dinho with you
i would ask about allergy medication too. Middle ear infections are rough I am sorry it’s taking so long for him to heal up. Cortizone (i assume that’s what he is on) Is definitely one they should not suddenly take him off so he definitely is having a withdrawal. When did the leg swelling start? Is it his the full leg or at the hip? Just because with these bigger guys, sometimes they can have hip joint issues that can actually be like inflamed from certain stuff like this.
There was a lump on the upper part of his right leg and then today it’s swollen and reaching his ankle (whole thing from upper till almost near the ankle is swollen) on the right leg only. The doc said it’s possible steroid induced and withdrawal coz of sudden stopping of cortisone or whatever and then he asked for the following tests
Yes it’s soft and also like jelly inside. Not hardened and he is refusing to walk. Like he is walking on three. And needs help getting up and sitting down. Plus his normal behaviour is off. Does the sodium potassium levels get messed up too ?
It’s beyond devastating coz to me he is like my own child. That’s why I came here desperate for help. And thanks to you both @Angelb1083@A_Pariah
they can and it sounds like he’s really really inflamed and I explains why he doesn’t want to use the leg. He’s probably really aching on that leg on his joints.
I dislike the sudden taking off of the medicine, this can happen. Poor baby I hope he feels better. I constantly don’t think it’s gonna be anything fatal.
No worries. I have to rub my dogs belly and back with it. It helps him a lot along with his medical stuff he is only 4 himself and his hips and digestive track is already going bad.
Oh no. I really hope he recovers or atleast gets better and lives out his life comfortably.
I feel the most pain for animals.
I’m an empath, clairaudient and struggling clairsentinence. Struggling coz my emotions are extreme. I’m also a Scorpio so maybe that adds to it.
I really cannot explain how I feel for animals and my pets. They’re more than a human to me.
started to work more actively on fever reduction and reduction of inflammatory processes/bacterial infections in the dogs body (honey, garlic, cumin, ginger, coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds). I also tried to activate Dinhos natural steroid production (sage, cumin) to help out in the withdrawal area. I mixed everything together with a healing oil thats designed for physical illnesses.
Visions of fire, a sudden increase in my own body temperature, a sore left arm, light headache. The candle burned rather quick and uneven, so I tried to even out the fire/temperature aspect.
