I haven’t. Recently I did try using a pendulum, but after I while I kept getting no as the answer to everything. I can definitely try that next though. Could you possibly give me steps for it or anything I should expect?
I’ve actually never done that because I’ve only done two evocations and I didn’t really need them to say much to me because I just needed to say my piece.
@wolfinsheepsskin Hun, do you know?
Get involved in your local occult community, that’s a good start
@chi yes I do
… one moment.
Have you tried divination devices? I enjoy playing cards, tarot, or a pendulum. Pendulums are great for beginners, and playing cards give straight answers most of the times, i dont use them for evocation anymore, but i did a lot when i didnt have my senses open yet, hell my senses still arent fully open yet lol
@Destiny_McKoy
Well what @chi speaks of is called Automatic Writing. So to preform this you must first,
~Find a place that is free of distraction
~Decide on how you will write
~Clear your mind
~Call on the entity you wish to channel (In your case it would be Sallos)
~Close your eyes
~Put your pen to the paper
~Let your hands do what they want
Finally once you feel like you are finished or you get confirmation from Sallos that you are… Take a deep breath, Open your eyes and look over what was writing.
You may keep this as a reminder.
UH no. I mean I have tarot cards but I dont know how to use them like that.
Yes playing cards are good, Ive used them a couple of times to see my future.
Has Duke Sallos mentioned why he won’t mentor you himself?
It’s crazy. As a child, I saw this happen (maybe on a show or movie. I can’t remember) and it came out to a beautiful drawing. I know that was extremely exaggerated, but it seems like a interesting method!.Two questions though. Can you clarify when you said “decide on how you will write”? and what should it come out to when I’m done? Object(s) or actual words or anything?
He hasn’t. He just said seek getting a spiritual mentor to help with my growth.
I did try a pendulum. It seemed like I go real answers at first but after maybe 3 questions or so, every following answer became no.
With any divination method, you’ve got to practice. I got a pendulum myself, but I keep choosing to focus on other things. The exercise I was going with was:
- Set clockwise for yes, counter-clockwise for no firmly in your mind.
- Ask the pendulum questions you know the answer to.
- When it answers every question as you know it should, you are ready to try to ask questions you don’t know the answers to.
Like I said, you’ve got to practice, though. For now, it doesn’t even move much for me.
I knew you were gonna asked that
… But I meant nothing in particular really just how you’re going to write onto the paper.
But as far as what will be on the paper that isn’t for me to know…that’s entirely up to the spirit. And what message they wish to relay to you!
I looking at some forums on auto writing and I saw someone mentioned auto typing was also a similarly good method. Do you have anything on that? More than likely, I’ll just try both and figure out which works better.
@Destiny_McKoy I know nothing of Auto-Typing But I would assume it exactly the the same just typing.
You would know more than me being that you did some research, Now it’s just a matter of putting it all together and actually doing it.
