Today I worked with Queen Pomba Gira for the first time. And I’m very excited how it will turn out since I’ve read about a lot of positive experiences with this Queen. She seems to be sweet and strong, caring and approachable.
Backstory: My husband moved out and is now in a relationship with another woman. I did a lot of bitter and wrong things to him and now he doesn‘t want to communicate with me any more. He is very angry with me, wants a divorce and to communicate through lawyers only. So Pomba Gira seemed the best Queen to work with in my hurt and despair. This is what I did. I hope it worked:
- I did penny divination and asked her if she wanted to work with me. She said „yes“ (three heads, one tail)
- It was close to midnight. I asked her for what she wanted as an offering and after a lengthy discussion through penny divination I gave her: red lipstick, pink nail polish, pink blush, perfume, a heart shaped black stone, bath salts and a bracelet.
- She wanted me to put these things into a pretty cardboard bag with her name on it.
- She wanted me to do the ritual on my husband‘s side of the bed with one lighted candle.
- After the ritual I put the bag with the offerings on my balcony.
- Stangely enough, she wanted me to place the bag with the offerings in a trash can next to the park where I live tomorrow night. That was the result of my penny divination. I think it feels disrespectful, but she explicitly wanted the trash can, so I guess I’ll do it
.
I then chanted:
