It may be that King David wrote the Psalms. It was basically his way of trying to make things right with his God after having a good soldier murdered so that he can be with his wife. That part you can probably call Satanik.

david did not write all of the psalms, they are a codex. some were written by moses, others by ezrahites heman and ethan, others by solomon, others by asaph, and then others by the sons of korah. some are anonymous, and there are more than 150 psalms, only 150 are recorded in the post-constantine bibles.

the psalms are liturgical the same way the yasna section of the avestan is. yasna is a lot like the psalms but older and more authentic. if you want to do satanic type work with liturgy, maybe try adapting the avestan the way michael w. ford does with his zoroastrian-derived satanic currents. that way you operate outside of the judeochristian mindset and free yourself to try something new and transformative rather than refrying your catholicism like most ‘dark’ pracs tend to do.

The psalms are basically inspired poems, prayers, and songs. So yes, you can use them for Satanic rituals. I don’t know what satanic current you follow atheistic or theistic, but I think you could pick and choose a couple of psalms and use them to your advantage.

Take Psalm 23King James Version (KJV):

"23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."

Just substitute the word “The Lord” with Satan.
The word “shepherd” with guide or watcher.
“I shall not want” with I shall want.
“Righteousness” with wickedness, so forth and so on.
Tailor the psalms to your own liking or purpose because what you’re essentially doing is creating a prayer.

The idea is to take from Judeo-Christian sources and not necessarily invert it but to restructure it. That’s if you are following a LaVeyan Satanic structure.

You will also have to research various Hoodoo(Judo) manuals and study their correspondences for any ritual you would like to perform.

I don’t know if this helps.
