Like weight lifting does for the physical body, the equivalent can do for the energetic body. Wielding too much personal energy too fast.can result in energetic injury the same as physical weight can result in physical Injury.
steroids can build up your physical body faster. And possessions and mergings can build your spiritual body faster.
Not all merging does that, and half the people that think they merge with another entity either merge with a small bit of their energy that can either help them or negatively affect them or merge with nothing besides what they were convinced they merged with.
Merging is used way too loosely by people who think it’s a quick way to get something lol. A real merging is taking a blind risk to take in foreign energy, the physical body doesnt react well to every foreign thing, the energy body won’t either.
