Yes nobody has been able to fully transform in the manner described in this topic. When asked for proof the person can never provide actual tangible proof. It’s always a “secret” The more secretive someone is with their magic the more you know they are a LARPer.
It’s always such and such told me how to do it but I can’t share because of some absurd secret. Whenever somebody posts something like this I just think why are you posting on a discussion forum where the whole point is to discuss magic.
Like most things in life the best people have others sing their praises while the least skilled always sing their own praises.
With that said you can work glamour magic to make people perceive you differently and you can use beauty magic to make changes to yourself. Just don’t expect anything overly dramatic
Nope, physical shapeshifting is not possible. It would literally break the laws of physics. Ever notice how the werewolf form is always portrayed as somehow larger than the human form? That extra mass would need to come from somewhere. And if you were shifting from a human to a regular sized animal, then your extra mass as a human being would have to disappear. Where would it go? Do you think there is a secret pocket dimension storage closet where shapeshifters keep their extra blood and bone while they prance around in the form of a tiny bird or a dog (I’m pretty sure a human sized bird would draw unwanted attention)?
I just read the kindle sample. The author describes a cathartic mental health episode which led him to focus on getting in touch with his primal nature. He is explicit in that the werewolf references are metaphoric and that he does not believe in the physical transformation concept.
I have experienced this. Over the years I have gradually transformed to look more and more like Homer Simpson. Extra mass definitely came from somewhere during this transformation
I bought and red the book the morphosephram by William R Wraithe which is a book about shapeshifting he talks about the werebeast and that there are three levels to it, I’m going to use the werewolf as an example.
Level 1 Human/Hybrid: human with animals features and enhanced abilities(between MARVELS Sabertooth, and the WOLFMAN)
Level 2 Hybrid: a beast with both human and animal features(popular modern version of werewolves)
Level 3 mega animal: the true form of the beast, Usually 2x the size of the animal(ex: twilight werewolf)
Though the book also says that you can only pick one or karma will get you, I’m hoping to learn if level 1 is an exception and that I can become a level werecreature of 2 or 3 different animals
True. I would think the extra mass would be physically manifested spirit energy, especially if all physical matter is already composed of incorporeal energy.
Well, it doesn’t necessarily have to be that way. In Mexico they have legends and testimonies about nahuales, wizards who can transform themselves at will into different types of animals and it seems that they do not suffer pain while doing so although they will exhibit wild behaviors until they learn to control the transformation. I can’t give much more information because I am not from there and although in my country (Argentina) there are some legends about men who transform into animals, they are much less known so there is even less data.
At this time I am working on cultivating my own power in hope that I can have superhuman abilities without the need to shapeshift, as well as have the power to gain the shapeshifting abilities that I typed without the help of any spirit, demon, god and/or goddess.
And I am finally gaining the knowledge i need to start my path to this.
