Chapter 1. Seasons With The Gods
In the opening chapter, I teach the origins of the runes as more than an alphabet, but gateways discovered by Odin through his own magick and self-sacrifice. Alongside the retelling of the ancient myths, I recount my own initiation into runic divination, when the stones first jumped into my hands and shook me awake to the reality of The Otherside. The narrative culminates in the Elf Transmission, received directly from a light elf manifested beneath a great pine tree, which maps out the order of the pathworking through the Nine Worlds. This chapter also introduces my First Rune Reading that revealed: “The Warrior, Strength, Patience, The Priest,” foreshadowing my lifelong ascent.
Chapter 2. The Nine Worlds
In chapter 2, I expand the reader’s perception beyond dualism into the spectrum of realms that form Norse cosmology. I place the Nine Worlds in conversation with Hindu and Buddhist maps of existence, showing the universality of multidimensional thinking, and how each world is distinct yet interconnected. I explore each of the nine worlds in depth, and the myths of their creation, as well as providing the full transcript and dissection of my Elf Transmission: a message from The Otherside that would forever change my path.
Chapter 3. The Malleable Self
In the third chapter, I zero in on the self, the soul as it is seen by the Norse, and the place of man in this existence. I reveal my own experiences with possession and shapeshifting, and give initial considerations for the art of shaping one’s own hamr or form.
Chapter 4. The Tools Of Runic Magick
The tools that you’ll need to work this magick are few, and you are able to adapt them to your circumstances and what you have available. This chapter discusses each of the ritual tools needed for Runic Magick, like the horn, hammer and staff. Each tool is dissected, so you know what each tool does, as well as why and how. I then reveal the methods of forging Legendary Weapons, not merely tools, but heroes manifest in metal.
Chapter 5. The Runes
The runes themselves are given in this chapter, each one described and defined, and shown in proper placement with the entire set of 24 Elder Runes. I recount the myths of the runes, how they were received and how Odin seized them. Odin also left us exact instructions on how to use the runes in every form of sorcery, and these are given step-by-step in this fifth chapter.
Chapter 6. Reading The Runes
This chapter provides an entire manual on how to perform Runic Divinations, reading the runes for yourself, for others, and even reading the runes for fate. Single rune draws, three rune spreads, and full nine-world rune readings are given in detail, along with advice on how to let go and allow the runes to speak to you.
Chapter 7. The Magick Of The Vanir, The Gods Of Nature
Turning to the Vanir gods of fertility and nature, I show how prosperity flows through cycles of reciprocity. Rites in this chapter include the Seidr Trance of the Vanir, which opens the senses to their whispering guidance, and the Fellowship Offering Rite, where food and drink are laid out to attract blessings of abundance. Vanaheim is revealed as a realm of growth, connection, and the doorway to Asgard through the Skygate.

Chapter 8. Asgard: Fortress of the Gods
In chapter 8, the reader enters the halls of Asgard, home of the Aesir. I emphasize both the wisdom and the politics of these gods. Instructions for the creation of a sacred space for both protection and creation are given. The High Seat of Odin Rite is introduced, in which the magician calls on Thor’s protection to look out across the worlds. And the Norns, or Sisters of Fate, are contemplated, along with workings to reveal your own fate, or even to weave its threads. Asgardian magick grants power, but it also demands discernment, teaching the reader how to claim strength without becoming bound. In your Thor and Asgardian Work, you’ll learn these rites and more:

Chapter 9. Jotunheim, The Land Of The Giants
Here, we enter Jotunheim, where giants embody chaos and primordial force. I warn that the Jotun think outside of human logic, but I also provide ways to work with their energy. Notable workings include the Rune Spell to Sow Discord, which calls upon Thurisaz to unravel false unity, and the Breaking the Wall Ritual, a rite to shatter barriers and open forbidden paths. Here the reader learns that giant magick can be perilous, but its storms break open the stagnant. With the Jotunheim and Giant Magick, you’ll perform:

Chapter 10. Dark And Light Elves
Chapter 10 holds two opposites equally: the Light and the Dark Elves. The Dark Elves teach the arts of crafting and manifestation. I guide the reader in practical rites for prosperity and tool-making. Among them is the Well of the Deep Voice, a scrying operation rooted in the forges of the underworld, and the Forge Binding Rite, where runes are carved into metal or stone to house specific powers. I even reveal the Knife’s Edge Curse, a sharp baneful working. In Svartalfheim, knowledge from Jotunheim is hammered into form. The luminous world of the Light Elves brings balance with harmony, love, and light. I teach offerings and meditations to draw Elven guidance, along with the Cord of Elven Fellowship, a ritual that braids Gebo, Mannaz, and Wunjo into a living bond of friendship and joy. Here the magician learns that fellowship itself can be a force of sorcery, every bit as binding as the harsher spells of other realms.

Descending into Helheim, the land of the dead, I offer guidance on ancestor veneration and initiatory death. Ancestral magick and runic necromancy are taught, through vivid description and through step-by-step instruction. One powerful rite is the Inheritance Ritual, in which ancestral runes are activated to pass down power and wisdom. Hel’s throne is revealed as a place where the practitioner must die to self and return remade. Helheim’s magick is sober and demanding, but it yields treasures of endurance and hidden strength. You’ll learn the rites of Hel and Ancestral Work, such as:

This rite will be conducted within my sacred runic circle: an outdoor temple space consecrated with stone, wood and fire. I will begin by invoking the elements, anchoring fire, water, earth and air into balance to give rise to the fifth element of spirit. I will then call upon the spirits of the land and my ancestors, asking them to stand as witnesses and allies.
With the circle sealed and the space alive, I will enter the core of the rite:
