The closest I have ever gotten to anything that could fit the description of “ogre” is opening the Anakim square from Evoking Eternity.
They are giants that beat the ground with clubs when they arrive.

Did they have a sort of earthy vibe to them

Not that I recall, at least not a heavy one like an earth elemental might have. They are Giants so being earthy would make sense.
