Hey guys I have this deck and was wondering if anyone has used it for summoning and tasking the demons to achieve an objective?
The book outlines a system but to my mind some key things are missing. On page 9 it says " To conjure any demon you wish to ask favours or gain divination of the future you must use the cards of The Occult tarot." Great so I want to use it to gain favours not for divination i’ll stick to rider waite smith for that.
Then it has instructions for questioning the demons but no instructions in terms of how to task them.
pg. 14 " Lay the tenth and final card above the ninth; this reveals the demon to which you shall PAY THE PRICE of receiving your desires. This demon shall trouble you with all the skills of his office until your debt to the demons has been paid in full."
huh nothing in the instructions spoke to anything outside of the suggested offerings so how do we reach to that and by the way in the book the part I have in CAPS is bolded.
The section is entitled “Questioning the demons” yet it says on pg. 14 “if the 10th card bears a demon that can predict the future, the conjurer may ask it a question.”
So basically I want to know how you guys are using this deck? Thanks in advance for your replies.
The author has the video below which is similar to some of the instructions but still missing some things in the book he is also using a different deck in this video.
I don’t own that deck so I’m afraid I can’t offer advice but it… kinda sounds like the author is being a tad dramatic.
Is there a way you can contact the author/creator of the system to ask questions?
If not, I (personally) would just make something up on the fly and freestyle it.
This sounds kinda like scaremongering horseshit to me, if you’ll pardon me saying so. I guess only suggestion I can offer is read any associated material a few more times and take your own notes; maybe a google search or two to see if there’s any more info out there on the internet; and if there’s nothing else out there that’s helpful then just freestyle it. But by the sounds of it the author has a bit of a boner for “this is SRS DARK MAGICKCK and if you do not PAY THE PRICE you will be HARRASSED BY DEMONICK FORCES 5EVA”. I assume you’ve already dealt with demons in the past so hopefully you know that this generally isn’t the case as long as you are respectful and sincere in your dealings with them and giving any promised offerings.
I have this deck! I used the demons cards in rituals, but the divination part I would only ask which to work with and who can help! Otherwise I’ll use other decks for more details because I feel like the cards will be restricted if I am already using one or too for conjuration.
The guidebook is not a must to follow… just do what you feel called to do!
I use the cards like a sigil and a simple conjuration.
Also beware if you activate the cards to close them later, because so many open cards can interfere with different operations…
@Veil golden advice I did contact him and he responded with the below. I am going to be experimenting a bit with the deck like you and @Miku suggested.
@anon25000386 the deck is absolutely stunning and well made. I would encourage you to buy it, just bought his angel deck as well too. One of the big things I think the occult deck will help me with is I don’t have to print my own sigils etc. anymore.
Also not sure if he charged the decks but mine definitely has a “feel” to it, far different from my printed sigils and my rider waite smith deck.

The “price” asked of the demon is always a mystery and is revealed during the reading (by the 10th card). If you watch my video walkthrough of the Demon-Possessed Tarot (the original name of the Occult Tarot) I go further in depth on this topic, as it can be scary to some people. My general advice is to come to the work with good intentions and a respectful tone and you won’t have any problems. The “offering” given in the beginning is more or less a way to show respect and help convince the spirit that you’re serious about what you’re asking for.
My new deck will be arriving this morning I’m so excited about it based on @sailing and @MiKu recommendation. I just finished evoking all 72 of the Goetic spirits too so I feel like I’ll really be able to use this deck in great utility. Connecting with the spirits for divination and ceremonial work is going to be awesome. I’ll keep you all posted.
my angelic one arrived on friday, i used it for the first time today.
i didn’t use the instructions he provided with the angelic deck although at first glance the first method is far more straight forward than the occult tarot.
@anon25000386 are you going to enroll in the class? I was be thinking it would be kind of cool if someone else from BALG signed up too. I signed up but haven’t actually started yet, going to take a look at it this week.
I just might. I always love new things and picking up others techniques. I’ll definitely look into it.
As far as the occult tarot goes I know there have been mixed reviews about the clarity of the instructions given. Let me ask do you think I’ll pick it up fairly easily given my experience with the Goetia already?
@anon25000386 of course you will pick up easily most people aren’t using the instructions anyway.
A customer of mine who has now become a friend actually recommended the occult tarot to me. He talks a lot about the success he has had with it and he has only ever used 4 demons from it. He said he has NEVER used the instructions lol
A friend of mine has a non divination deck of 100 famous demons from different points in history and cultures and we take a draw from this deck to indicate which spirits are reaching out to us willing and able to work with us and deliver.
I actually had King Bael come up last time I drew from the deck and that’s really interesting because King Bael is one of two spirits I’ve pacted with. So out of 100 possibilities that card came up at just the right time.
I’m hoping to be able to duplicate this kind of divination with the occult tarot and even do more with it. Very exciting
@Mike_Bee what’s the name of that one? I am kind of disappointed that more demons and angels aren’t included in travis’ deck. Today I had to print the seal of sandalphon and I was so hoping the angel would have been in the angel tarot deck.
@miku@sailing help!!! Hahaha I just got my occult tarot deck and I ordered it online from china ( I’m in the philippines). It has the deck yes but no book came with it. Not even the little white one. How do I use it, I mean I know how to use tarot cards and what they mean. I should have been suspicious with the low price I know 5$. Hahahaha I guess I’m lucky they weren’t second hand .
No but the deck itself is awesome. I just don’t know what I can do with it.

Did you download the guidebook? It has a way to use it!
But you don’t have to go by it!
You can use it as a sigil in rituals or you can use it as normal tarot if you remember the meanings of the Arcanas and add to it the personality and description of the demons.
. I had a deck of tarot of ceremonial magick that I used for similar purposes but that’s a whole system. Wow …that’s really cool.
