NoFap + How it affects my practice | Journal

Hello everyone I am making this journal to document my NoFap journey and how it affects my practice.

While the days will pass and my NoFap strake will be higher I will do magick and measure it results.

Today is day one as I just relapsed some hours ago

I might not be the best with words so don’t be surprised if I type things like “today was good” or “I didn’t fapped today” as the whole update

The urges are quite strong now, I did the bad thing of watching some images, but I didn’t relapsed.

I need to stay strong, I need to improve my life :flexed_biceps:

Day 5, a little urges but nothing else.

I didn’t updated day 4 because I was really sick and forgot about this journal .

My two cents…it’s easy for others to say or for yourself to say “just don’t jerk off”.

I had a bad porn habit - late to day work because of porn even.

Then came “Celebrate Recovery”, even though it was mostly substance abuse or alcoholics attending.

At some point it just waned, and I realized I was neglecting magic, I had a fallout with the church. So I quit jerking off.

I have been trying to stop fapping since 2022 but I never totally stopped watching porn. Sometimes I look some pics, I don’t really fight the urge of watching it, I stop the urge of fapping while watching it, maybe I watch 7 pics and then I turn it off.

I use to relapse because I have what I call “horny attacks” but since I began trying to quit fapping I can kinda control them

Also my kink is very narrow, I think less than 500k on the world have it so it is almost impossible to have new content over and over

I’m also trying to stop masturbating now. I thought about making a deal with the demon: he’d grant me something in exchange for me abstaining from masturbation forever.
This will increase my resolve and prevent me from relapsing. I did something terrible from the age of 11 to 14; I masturbated six times a day. I thought I would be strong forever, but my growth was severely affected by the excessive masturbation, and my body became weak.

If I may ask, what is the purpose of your “no-fap?” There’s a lot of nonsense in the no-fap community and I was wondering what, exactly, you’re hoping to accomplish with this? Is there a final end goal?

Deliberate chastity has been used magically for centuries but usually for a specific purpose, such as purification.

When I fap while watching pornography or not I loose all my energy for some days and I can feel it. When I wake up in the morning my head hurts and I feel like I didn’t sleep nothing, my hair becomes thinner and in some cases a red horizontal line appears in one of my eyes or both.

It may sound dramatic but it is the truth

But when I have sex ( I am not a playboy ), this doesn’t happen

I do it mainly for health and when I am on NoFap like I have sharper mind and my communication with spirits is easier

In my opinion, you would be better served by doing the no-fap for a specific magical purpose rather than just as something general. For example, plan out a ritual to evoke a spirit on February 1st, and then do the celibacy for the days leading up to it. Once the ritual is over, you can then freely indulge. Like fasting, magical celibacy can give focus to what you are doing but it is unnecessary all of the time.

According to Jason Newcomb in his book Sexual Sorcery, there are three types of magical chastity. The first type is to refrain from all types of sexual activity and thought all together, If sexual thoughts come up, immediately turn your thoughts towards the Eternal, and all things spiritual. This type of magical chastity is generally used for purification purposes leading up to ritual.

The second type of magical chastity is where the sexual energy is raised through masturbation or sex with a partner, and then circulated through the body instead of dissipated through climax. Practicing this type of magical chastity can eventually result in full body orgasm without any loss of fluid.

The third type of magical chastity is where you completely remove any sexual thought or activity outside of a magical context. What this means is that instead of having sex for pleasure, you would only do it within ritual.

Physically speaking, masturbation is healthy for your body. Contrary to the no-fap nonsense propagated online, you do not lose any appreciable amount of minerals from ejaculation, nor does it lower your testosterone.

I don’t know how old you are but, energetically speaking, you don’t lose a lot of jing from masturbation either. That’s a fallacy propagated by religious asceticism that treats the body like it’s something dirty. From your description in the first post, it seems like the problem for you was mainly masturbating chronically than just masturbation itself.

A agree with you in some things but I am not a chronic capper, I fap once every week or two weeks

7 days, urges are more intense but I can control them

what I will say is that the end goal was never to obsess over not fapping. If it happens, forget about it. The more you focus on it the more you give your energy to it. I just stopped doing it and forgot about it and did it once in a month and a half.

My friend, first of all, I must say that orgasm and ejaculation are different. Unnecessary, regular ejaculation leads to energy loss and depression in the long run. Your focus should be on achieving orgasm without ejaculation. Your sexual energy should remain in your body, except for procreation. I highly recommend this book. I no longer experience fatigue. I can have sex for hours. Of course, this brings admiration from the opposite sex. The problem of sexual aversion and loss of erection after ejaculation no longer exists for me. I continue to have sex and achieve orgasm without losing my erection.
