I hope the following ideas will help…
Cleansing:
Smoke cleansing (Smudging). There’s a bunch of vids on youtube, find the ones where native americans (north, central or south) explain how. (White) sage is very popular, palo santo, cedar wood and herbs like rosemary are also very effective.
Ritual (cleansing) baths, preferably a salt bath and/ or add some cleansing and protective herbs.
Ringing a bell through your house (silver is very effective, I believe), a bit like smudging your house but with sound (and intent)
Genuine laughter is not only medicine, but also a great way to turn bad energy energy into positive (for you) or just banishes energy that doesn’t match yours.
Spring cleaning, meaning cleaning your entire house, every corner and crevice while having your windows open (while holding the focused intent of clearing out all energy that doesn’t belong) . An extra bonus, I find, is putting on some music that makes you happy and singing along with it every now and then, the louder the better. It doesn’t have to sound good, as long as you just have fun doing it.
Either after your house is clean just on it’s own. You can make a cleansing/ protection. banishing concoction and or go over all the corners and crevices with a spray bottle after you’ve smudged
With all these cleansings it’s important to keep the clear intention of getting rid of bad energy. You could visualize it as blowing away brownish/ blackish clouds that either dissipate or flee through open windows.
Warding:
The Hexafoil is an ancient Bruxes/ Witchcraft/ folk magic symbol for protection, you can use that as a ward throughout your house on windows and doors etc. even make a talisman with that symbol.
You can design your own symbol/ sigil for protection using the Chaos Magick method or design something that has significance for you and also spread that around your house. If you feel you need some immediate and powerful warding you can draw that sigil in blood on your window.
Create a servitor for warding purposes, you can set it to feed on parasites that mean to harm you. I know not everyone does this, but do take in consideration that servitors should generally be created for temporary purposes.
I have a rosemary bush in a public planter in front of my house hat I tend to, It’s for protection from any astral energy that means to do harm in my house and that of my two neighbors.
