My Journey of Creating an Evocation Text with Hieroglyphs for Lucifer-Amaymon COMPLETED

Welcomeee to my journey about Lucifer-Amaymon. On this journey, I will develop a hieroglyphic evocation text for Amaymon, and I have decided to share this little journey here.

The fact is that I disappointed Amaymon this morning… Amaymon gave me a seven-day punishment. This punishment forbade me from doing activities that are good for me in daily life. This may seem strange when viewed from a distance, but the real purpose is precisely this: I work almost 10 hours a day and he would tell me to cut back on my work and take care of myself. I really don’t do much for myself. So much so that a few days ago, he forbade me from doing activities that were good for me so that I could see how much harm I was doing to myself, and he only wanted me to work for seven days.

Yesterday was the fourth day, and I was in such a bad state that I had started to think Amaymon and the demons were harming me. I even thought about getting away from them. This morning Amaymon came to my temple. He was angry, but I could see the disappointment behind his anger. After talking for a while, he left my temple saying this: “I won’t work with you as long as you’re in this state. Don’t call me again until you get yourself together.”

Amaymon revealed my connection to Amon-Ra. Even though I was still on Belial’s path, I began working closely with him. Amaymon took a very close interest in me on Belial path.

Amaymon always said that i carried his black sun and the sun of Amon-Ra. Yesterday, however, my beginning to doubt these things made him very angry. Then I decided to embark on this journey to make amends and restore my connection with Amaymon. After Amaymon left my temple, I felt sad.

Like i said in this journey i’ll create an evocation text for Amaymon but with hieroglyphs. I’ll use several sources for this journey

My plan is as follows: I will prepare two separate texts for the Evocation, one for the beginning and one for the end. This will take a little longer, but I believe it will be powerful. So at the end of my journey, I will stand before him with strength.

Today I made my preparations and plans. The first thing I will do is prepare the texts in English and then translate them into hieroglyphics.

For the source, I decided to use Amduat book:

For those who don’t know The Amduat is an ancient Egyptian funerary text. It describes the journey of the sun god Ra through the underworld during the twelve hours of the night. The ancient Egyptians believed that after sunset, the sun god Ra traveled for 12 hours through Duat—in other words, the underworld. The Book of Amduat describes Ra’s 12-hour journey. In the Amduat, Ra’s activities every hour are described in detail.

When Ra enters duat he becomes black sun (Amaymon). So this will be perfect source for my journey…

I will benefit from 1st hours (beginning of the evocation) and 12th hours (ending of the evocation) of Amduat. And today i prepared beginning of the text with the first hour. Here’s the information for the first hour:

Hour 1: The sun god enters from the western horizon which is a transition between day and night. Just below the image of Ra in his solar barque is the alternate depiction of the sun god as a scarab in a smaller barque. This is the god Khepri, who Ra turns into once the sun rises once more and is likely depicted in hour 1 as the sun begins to set for the night. The upper and lower registers contain a labeled list of the common and/or important creatures and beings found within the underworld. Two depictions of the goddess Maat are present leading Ra’s barque, possibly showing how her order is still present even in the chaos of the underworld.

Also here’s the schema of the first hour from the Amduat:

Khepri god is an aspect of Ra. When Ra begins to be reborn, he becomes Khepri (because Khepri symbolizes rebirth as the scarab beetle). as the sun begins to set, he becomes Atum. (Khepri-Ra-Atum)

According to the Amduat, Ra never enters the Amduat alone. He enters the Amduat accompanied by many gods and goddesses. Furthermore, when Ra enters the Amduat with his boat, many gods, goddesses, and baboons greet him (the section I marked at the top of the schema).

And today i prepared the beginning of the text as English:

So that black sun rises in Duat

In the name of gods who greet him
In the name of goddess who make music for him

Come and look at me in my darkness
So that breathe your darkness upon me

I create the magic power with the words of Ra
For you to come here
Rise from the throne of darkness
Rise from the darkness of Duat
Come and open the gates of darkness
So that i may become one with your darkness

I will use this text to evoke Amaymon. I prepared it by comparing it to Ra, who rises as the Black Sun in Duat. My temple is duat and the black sun is Amaymon, huh…

Translating this is going to be really challenging. The next day, I will start translating it.

Today i started to translate the text into hieroglyphs, and also I made some edits and additions to the text.

Yesterday Amaymon came to my temple and spoke with me. He seemed to have calmed down and said that what I did was really powerful.

today, I added these texts as first section :

I will correct the mistakes tomorrow If there are any mistake, and I will translate the rest of the text.

for dictionary, I usually use ‘Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphic Dictionary of Mark Vygus’. I don’t trust the dictionary of wallis budge…

Also, translations can be really take a long time. Sometimes i need to check the some words with ancient egypt writings. I usually do this: First, I find the meaning of this word via the dictionary, then i check the word with some obelisks or Steles etc.

For example, I am currently translating the word “flame.” This word can be translated as ‘nsr’ or “nsrt.” From Mark Vygus’ dictionary:

The suffix -t has been added to the word nsr, so this is a feminine word. In other hand, nsr is masculine word. let’s check the words. From obelisk of thutmose I:

Notice that nsrt was used for goddesses. Also we can benefit from Amduat book (pages 31 and 190):

We can see that the word nsr or nsrt is a correct translation. So i will use ‘nsr’ in my text. I need to do this for some words becausee I care about accurate translation.

Today I finished correcting yesterday’s translations and continued with the remaining ones. After completing the work, I will share both the corrected English and hieroglyphic versions together.

After five days, I am continuing my journey today. A few days ago, I applied for a job in the field of cybersecurity, and I had to postpone the journey because they asked me to complete a project. uh, to be honest King Belial told me to do this. Like Amaymon, Belial was also very angry that I couldn’t make time for myself in my daily routine in the past.

Here’s my conversation with him:

Belial: Your journey is really powerful, especially for Amaymon. It makes me happy to see you doing these things in my path.

After a few tiring days, I am continuing my work today.

I finished creating the image for the first line today. Especially when creating the hieroglyphic images, i check the accuracy of the texts. And today i learned the some irregular verbs of imperative mood.

I learned that jwj (‘Come’) is not often used in imperative moods and it was used especially as the irregular ‘Mj’ in the Middle Kingdom. From ‘Middle Egyptian: An Introduction to the Language and Culture of Hieroglyphs’ book’:

To understand better, let’s translate this sentence into hieroglyphics: ‘Come! Bring me some water!’

In the case of regular verbs, these verbs are used in their simple/base form. In our text, for example, ‘jnj’ word means ‘bring!’. Here’re translations of other words:

heey! For a few days, i was working on the image and today i finished the all sections of the text. Here’re the results of a few:

I have also prepared the transliteration of the hieroglyphs so that you can easily read the texts. When I publish the complete texts, I will explain how you can read them.

I’ll checking them again. Tomorrow I’ll combine all of them into a single photo, and then the text will be complete.

Right now, I’m preparing a short tutorial on how to read Egyptian hieroglyphics. This way, you can easily read the texts through transliteration.

I’ve been going through a really busy period lately, which is why it took me longer to complete the work. However, I finished it. Today completed the evocation with my text at 3 a.m. tonight.

I set everything so that my desk faces east. I also included my own magical circle and my sword, andd the necklace of Amaymon:

You don’t need things like a circle or a sword. The only thing you need is your intention

i used E.A’s book because i decided to strengthen the evocation with The Serpent’s Breath of E.A Koetting.

First, I started with LBRP. Then I continued with The Serpent’s Breath. Then i gazed it:

I have seen the inverted pentagram transform into Lucifer’s sigil many times during the gaze.

Then I started using the evocation text. As I read the texts, I began to feel as if a warm energy was rising from the ground in a straight line toward my head, and the candles began to move. After reading the texts, I started looking at the sigil I had prepared (I will share this sigil later). As I looked at the sigil, these words unexpectedly began to come out of my mouth:

For a moment, I felt as if I were Amaymon… I reread the evocation text and repeated these steps a second time. Then I started repeating enn. I felt a truly powerful hot energy enter my room. I saw Amaymon sitting at the right cross of the circle. Then we started talking:

Amaymon: You’ve finally completed your work.

Me: Yeah, my recent times have been busy.

Amaymon: I know i know.

Me: I finished this work because you left me. What do you think of the work?

Amaymon: I never left you. I will always be by your side. You were seriously hurting yourself, and I had to stop it.

Your text and your intention are truly a powerful. Especially lately, you’ve really developed yourself well in hieroglyphics, and you’re not even on my path yet. Soon you will be on my path and you will become one with my black sun and live with it. But even if you complete my path, you will always be with me. You will live with my black sun, you will grow with it and die with it. Wherever you go, I will always be there. YOU ARE MY BLACK SUN, YOU ARE MY DARKNESS, YOU ARE THE SUN OF AMON-RA AND I WILL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU

Me: … Now I understand better why I meditated for you when I was 15.

Amaymon: You have a long way to go to understand this.

After talking about what I’ve been through lately, we returned to the topic:

Amaymon: Amon-Ra wants to speak with you. You will come to me in the morning, and I will take you to him.

Me: Why?

Amaymon: Because of the things you’ve been doing lately.

Me: Okey… btw do I need to enhance this text?

Amaymon: You don’t. You need to focus on different things.

After talking a little more, we ended the conversation. Amaymon then left you this message:

“Come to me and become one with my black sun! Call me with this text, breathe in the serpent’s venom and become one with your divine form!”

How to read hieroglyphics?

I have created a short guide for you here and before the ritual, you need to understand how can you read the hieroglyphics. Generally, hieroglyphics has a flexible structure. These texts can be read from right to left, left to right or top to bottom. To determine this, you need to check where the animals’ or people’s heads are looking. If the heads are looking to right, the text must be read from right and left, but the heads are looking to left, you must read the text from left to right.

Here’s a photo to better understand:

Hieroglyphics never read from bottom to top.

Let’s see a few example. Hieroglyphs on the Temple of Kom Ombo:

Just focus on the heads of animals. The heads are looking to right. If we need to read these, we need to start from right.

Last example from Temple of Kom Ombo:

We read this text from left to right. That’s all actually. Btw The Evocation text must be read entirely from left to right.

Now let’s practice with a real stele. We will read first text of the Poetic Stele of Thutmose III:

We will focus just on the section i marked. Notice that the heads of animals and people are looking to right. So that we need to read them from right to left. The section i marked is beginning text:

The word at the end of the photo is tꜣwy. I wrote it wrong

The text is start by dd-mdw. This is introduction of the stele. dd-mdw is very common recitation - or - in other words this is a standard, formulaic opening in ancient Egyptian texts, especially in reliefs and paintings where a god or king is speaking. It’s can be translated with several ways: ‘Words of Spoken’ or ‘Speech of’ etc. Then we saw the hieroglyphics of Amon-Ra (imn-r). Here’s the translation of this section: Words Spoken by Amon-Ra.

Then we can see nb word (The bowl shape to the right of the sun disk) and this mean is ‘lord’. The three boxes (nswt) below the letter nb mean ‘thrones’. And lastly we can see tꜣwy and this mean is ‘Two lands’.

This sentence can be translated with this as a introduction: Words Spoken by Amon-Ra, Lord of the Thrones of Two Lands.

You can practice by repeating the texts in the evocation text.

Now i will share the sigil

The Sigil

lastly i will share the sigil. Here’s the sigil:

The first thing that catches your eye will be the ram horns. Aside from Amaymon himself being associated with a ram’s head, in the Book of Amduat, the sun god Ra himself is depicted as a ram-headed god. From Amduat Book (Page 9):

“Normally, in the center of each hour the sun bark is placed, showing the sun god in his ram-headed, nocturnal form (the ram is one of the signs for the Ba-soul) passing through the Netherworld.”

Or from Wikipedia:

“Throughout the text of the Amduat , Ra is depicted as being “ram-headed” as he descends into the underworld and becomes separated from his body, being left only with his ‘Ba’ as he seeks to reunite with his body, which is now in the form of Osiris, in the ensuing hours.”

I think this is where the association of Amaymon with the ram’s head comes from. Traces of Amaymon can be found in many places in the Amduat.

I added a black sun and a normal sun to both the top and bottom sections. This symbolizes Amon-Ra and Amaymon. Remember that Amaymon is Amon-Ra’s black sun. The hieroglyphic texts I added for both explain them well:

Above Text (Amon-Ra): ntk imn-r sksk kkw k.k sw.k ntry - You are Amon-Ra who destroys the darkness with your divine spirit and light.

Below Text (Amaymon): ntk r km n imn-r rḏj nh r kkw n dwt - You are black sun of Amon-Ra who gives the life to the darkness of Duat
