Max’s Crackhouse Expeditions

See this is when the occult can drive people mad and you’re going off the deep end a bit, you should probably take a break.

But before I do that I’m going to get shit done. Too much on my plate.

@AdamThoth
My line of thought was actually better thought out than that in my head, I just said the result. I’m not going off the deep end, not yet anyways. I feel a little lost but for the most part I’m fine.

Please actually say something helpful the next blue moon you post here?

Well I would but I don’t really understand what you’re looking for or even really talking about.

Well lets look at my menagerie of bullshit:

Practicing intuition with the coin flip thing, sometimes I get like a billion in a row, I’m on a roll, and then I get like one or two in a row for a long ass time, no in between, so there’s something I’md doing right, but not all of the time

Okay that’s literally it.

You’re burning out. You can only do so many pull ups before you get tired and can’t do any more. Same thing happened to me when I was your age. I would get burned out then frustrated as to why and I realized the mind is like a muscle and you can only work it so long before it gives out on you. Once I started giving myself time to rest I was able to take it to a whole new level and started using dice to increase the range of probability then two dice and at some point figured out how to take control of probability and developed tychokenisis. Now I can make the dice land how I want. See the two are related, think Schrodinger’s cat and superposition. Eventually you’ll get there.

I was on a roll but my battery cut out so I only got so much of it but it’s a little clip example.

See I tried to show people but people’s jaws didn’t really drop over it because they didn’t really understand what was happening but I think you get it and you will eventually reach my level where most won’t ever even get close, due to their own mental laziness and not a lack of innate ability.

I’m not burning out. I usually have a massive headache when I burn out, and I want to die so I go to sleep.

Or is burning out usually more tame?

Yeah it just stops working for you and you get a headache when you’re trying to push beyond that. Pulling the hamstring so to speak.

Oh, okay that definitely makes sense.

Me: “Am I burned out, Hist?”

Hist: “No,” as a headache flares up out of nowhere.

I was met by another snake in the astral when trying to decide my form, not Hist. Represents someone higher, he gets Hist’s trust so he gets mine. He is not powerful, but he has a lesson to teach me. He says a fitting “draconic form” awaits me. (So I’m like hey, free cool form)

The “dragon fire lights the way” metaphor can be taken very literally. It lit up a lot of draconic… implements. That I couldn’t see before in the astral. Like a strange ridley-esque-but-not-quite rock dragon, who I consumed the spinal fluids and heart of. I felt it’s power flow inside of me. Apparently, I was meant to do this periodically. I felt a pressure in my ajna and my heart has a pain in it.

This is good, because I can use this to develop my psychic abilities. But he’s got something else to tell me, and I’ll keep you updated.

Gonna go meet up with my main man Odin. We’re gradually shifting into the psychic ability development phase, and Odin wants to meet me again.

Hist is convinced I’m doing it wrong, that I’m not “just knowing” correctly. My ajna is activated, but says I’m not “just knowing.” I don’t actually know how to just know by force.

XXXX0X0XXXXXX00XX000X00X0X0X00(dying down as you can see)00X0X0X000(40)

At this point, it stopped working well off. This is very difficult and I would really appreciate if literally anyone helped, but considering I’ve asked like four times and got nothing I don’t expect much.

XXX0XXXX0X
(started working??)

Anyways, X=Right, 0=Wrong, I got a 56% success rate which is better but doesn’t nearly escape 50/50 guess territories, proving nothing. My highest count of coins in a row is 6, which is a 1/64 chance to get with just guessing.

There’s always a 50/50 chance on each try, the 1/64 on the chain of tries is incorrect, lookup what the gambler’s fallacy is.

It is normal to think that if you had 7 in a row you are on a streak but it is just the same as getting any other outcome, because it is always a 50/50, unless you can do a 100% guess.

This means that try number 8 has also 50/50, you might guess or not.

So this is a mathematical explanation, zero magick in it.

Being that said, only if you get 100 you will have mastered predictions or divination, otherwise your results are behaving normally.

So maybe you should not care for “improves on % results” and aim for a 100. Hope that makes sense.

Let me put this into perspective. I, at first, have a 1/2 chance of getting it right. Then I get it right again. I had a 1/4 chance of getting both of these right. It’s not about streaks of getting heads or tails, it’s about streaks of guessing what the coin will land on with intuition, meaning it’s not a chance but it’s skill with a formula I’m trying to understand and develop. The chance is saying, “If I WAS guessing, this is the chance I would even get this.”

And to be honest, that isn’t even fucking possible yet for me. Aiming for 100? That would make me immediately lose hope the second I got one wrong, causing frustration.

Ever try working with Asenath’s materials? Or the TOAF?

Working through the draconic ritual book, actually.

On that note, one of my dragon friends taught me how to use draconic fire before the book did.

Max, you always have 1/2. Believing you had 1/4 on a second flip is going with the “gambler’s fallacy”. Each flip is independent, there is no coin memory that will make it more or less likely to go either heads or tails every time. Each go is a 50/50.

What I’m saying is, don’t concentrate in the average of those 40 or 50 flips.

Okay, fine. But I’m going to need an entirely new method. Because I’m not getting 100%, that NEVER happens and just trying for it at my skill level will kill the method with frustration.

I know and I didn’t mean to frustrate your attempt, sorry, just trying to see if there is a different way to look at what you are trying to achieve.

But logically and mathematically the chance of flipping a coin three times in a row is 1/8 as a whole, so your entire line of thinking doesn’t make sense. IT’s not gambler’s fallacy, look it up. Gambler’s fallacy is the belief that you have “Streaks” of winning and losing, and I have not illustrated that. I have point in time where I am more in tune with my intuition, and I mean to influence them.

Because it’s psychic skills. It’s not the fallacy. @Lucifogo
